Chapter: 2655
When Charlie Wade replied, everyone in the cabin was shocked. Vasily felt completely thrown off and exclaimed, “How is this possible?”
Han Guangyao, though relieved, also seemed astonished. He asked Vasily, “Did you miscalculate the data?”
“Impossible,” Vasily responded confidently. “I’ve been skydiving for years and have never made a mistake in my calculations.”
Han Guangyao frowned, “Then I really don’t understand…”
At that moment, Chen Zekai, who had been quiet until now, spoke up. “Don’t worry about it. The young master is much stronger than you think! Let’s just prepare to meet him at the agreed location.”

With that, the transport plane turned around and headed back to Beirut, the capital of Lebanon.
Meanwhile, Charlie Wade was moving quickly, keeping his presence hidden as he made his way from the mountains to the foot of the hill. The rain clouds were thickening, making it hard to see. Even though it was still afternoon, it felt like dusk.
These poor lighting conditions made it harder for anyone to spot Charlie. Plus, after a recent thunder strike that had taken out a few soldiers, the enemy troops were on edge and less watchful.
Now, Charlie was just steps away from the village where the opposition was stationed. He could see the bullet holes scattered across the low walls made of yellow earth. The entire village was nestled in a narrow area, making it a perfect target for him.
In the valley, the village buildings are arranged in crescent shapes. Most of the outer buildings are surrounded by a nearly two-meter-high wall. There are two entrances located to the north. At each entrance, there is a stone arch in the Middle Eastern style, with soldiers standing guard on both sides.
Outside the village, many soldiers with guns patrol along the wall. On the roofs of several earthen buildings, sentries armed with AK-47s keep watch. Charlie Wade notices that the soldiers seem relatively relaxed. Most of them walk back and forth, casually holding their guns.
This group of opposition forces has average individual combat skills and outdated weapons, but they do have plenty of combat experience. However, having so much experience can sometimes lead to mistakes. They have faced various types of warfare, including encirclements, narrow road encounters, and major battles, but they have never dealt with individual infiltrations.
Whether it’s the government, the opposition, or the Kurdish armed forces, they all share a major flaw: individual soldiers often struggle in combat. They rely on teamwork, usually acting in groups of seven or eight, often accompanied by heavy machine guns in their pickup trucks. No one thinks it’s a good idea to go deep into enemy territory alone.
Because they lack experience with individual infiltration, their defenses do not focus on that threat. Instead, they concentrate on monitoring government forces, some of which have sent out large motorized troops, dispatched fighter jets, or deployed heavy weapons.
Charlie Wade noticed a gap in the patrol team’s coverage and quickly made his move. He carefully approached the fence, choosing a spot that was less guarded, hidden from the view of the sentries on either side of the building. This was the perfect place to slip through.
With the grace of a swallow, Charlie jumped over the wall. He landed quietly on the other side, making sure not to make a sound.
