When the two enemy soldiers were chatting just moments ago, they felt completely safe. This was their home turf, heavily guarded, and filled with their own supporters. In their minds, as long as there was no fight outside, they were perfectly secure inside.

But then, out of nowhere, an unknown person appeared! This sudden event made both soldiers very anxious. They were not on guard, and their guns were not ready to fire. To use their weapons, they would have to load them and take off the safety, a process that would take precious seconds.

The stranger gripping their necks had a surprisingly strong hold, almost like a vice. The soldiers felt certain that if the stranger wanted to, he could easily harm them. Realizing this, they quickly complied by dropping their guns and raising their hands.

One of them spoke nervously, “Hey, friend, let’s talk calmly. Don’t do anything rash!”

Charlie Wade responded coldly, “Turn around.”

As he spoke, he eased his grip on their necks just a bit. The two soldiers wasted no time and swiftly turned around. When they saw Charlie Wade, they looked as if they had seen a ghost. They had expected that the sudden threat would be an American, and there were two reasons for this belief. First, they had recently captured eight young Americans during their fight against the government forces, taking them hostage.

The group had demanded a large ransom from the United States, prompting the U.S. to send a team to rescue the hostages. This made sense, given the situation.

Another reason for the U.S. intervention was that the local government soldiers were quite skilled. It would be difficult for them to sneak in and rescue the hostages. Only people like Schwarzenegger and Stallone had the skills needed for such a mission.

To their surprise, the man standing before them was a yellow-skinned man with East Asian features. One of the captors asked nervously, “Who are you? What do you want?”

Charlie Wade replied coldly, “You don’t get to ask me questions. In this situation, I will ask the questions, and you will answer honestly. If you don’t, I will kill you. Do you understand?”

The two men quickly nodded, “Yes! We understand! Just ask your questions.”

Charlie Wade then asked, “Where are the young Americans you captured?”

One of them quickly responded, “The eight hostages are locked in the cellar of Ansala’s house!”

The other added, “Ansala’s house is in the middle of the village, near the square!”

Charlie Wade pressed on, “Are they all okay? Are they alive?”

One of the captors nodded and said, “Yes, they are all alive for now. But soon, they will choose one person to execute. The U.S. Embassy hasn’t paid any ransom yet, so our commander decided to execute one to pressure them.”

Charlie Wade continued his questioning, “How many entrances and exits are there, and how many guards are there?”

The man replied, “There is only one entrance to the cellar, and there are four guards inside.”

There were about twelve guards stationed outside. These guards usually lived in Ansala’s house.

Charlie Wade asked, “If I want to go in, can you help me get inside?”
