Charlie Wade stood tall, looking at He Zhiqiu with a serious expression. He shouted, “You need to be quiet! Your life didn’t matter to me before, but now that I’m here, you will live! Even if you want to die, I won’t let that happen!”

He Zhiqiu replied, “But I have the right to say no to you taking me away!”

Charlie pointed to Hamid and asked, “Why didn’t you say that when he kidnapped you?”

He Zhiqiu was at a loss for words. She stammered, “I… I…”

Charlie interrupted her coldly, “Enough! I’m not here to argue. You have to come with me, whether you like it or not. If you really want to die, wait until we get back to Jinling. Once I hand you over to your father, you can decide what to do then. It won’t be my concern anymore.”

He Zhiqiu instinctively protested, “But I don’t want to go back!”

Charlie responded with a scoff, “You think I care about what you want? You’re coming with me!”

Then he turned to Faisal and ordered, “Gag her. I don’t want to hear another word from her!”

Faisal quickly picked up the headgear that He Zhiqiu had worn, twisted it, and stuffed it into her mouth. He Zhiqiu was silenced immediately, only able to hum in frustration as tears filled her eyes.

Charlie watched her and then waved to Faisal, “Take her out!”

Faisal complied and led He Zhiqiu out of the room. The other seven people inside watched with anger and frustration on their faces as she was taken away.

Charlie Wade looked at the seven people and said, “No matter how long you seven live, remember these seven words: the right way in the world is through the ups and downs of life! You are just narrow-minded and short-sighted like brave rats. Even reading more books won’t help you! No matter how much gold you cover yourself with, it can’t hide the stench of your actions!”

Then, he turned to Hamid and said, “Commander Hamid, please help us leave safely.”

Hamid didn’t respond with words; instead, he gestured for Charlie to go ahead and said, “Brother, please!”

Charlie nodded and walked out of the room with Hamid. Once they were out, the iron door was locked again. Despite the cries from the seven left inside, Charlie felt no pity.

After that, Hamid followed through with their plan. He used a walkie-talkie to instruct his men to unload all the ammunition from one of the helicopter gunships. Then, he evacuated all the guards from the yard above and had his most trusted pilot land the helicopter in the yard.

Once everything was ready, Hamid turned to Charlie and said, “Brother, the plane is ready. Let’s go up now.”

Charlie nodded and told Feisal, “You all stay here.”

Without hesitation, the others replied, “Yes!”

Charlie then pulled He Zhiqiu, whose hands were tied behind him, and said to Hamid, “The three of us will go up.”

He Zhiqiu remained silent, tears in his eyes. Hamid took the initiative to drop his gun on the ground and said to Charlie, “Brother, let me go first. You have a gun, and my leg is injured, so you don’t have to worry about me escaping.”

Charlie admired Hamid’s honesty and nodded slightly, saying, “Thank you, brother!”
