Chanel’s dress looks like something a British royal princess might wear. It has a knee-length skirt and a long-sleeved fitted top, giving it a luxurious, celebrity vibe. Charlie Wade chose this style because the weather is still a bit chilly, making it perfect for spring and autumn.
Even though the dress has a long skirt, wearing it with bare legs could be cold. So, Charlie decided to buy a pair of black tights for He Zhiqiu. He picked the size based on her height, and just as he was about to pay, he remembered how dirty the sneakers she wore yesterday were. He quickly grabbed a pair of stylish white leather shoes in size 37 for her.
Charlie wasn’t sure if the size would be perfect for her, but he thought it would be better than having her wear old, worn-out shoes. With the new clothes and shoes in hand, he noticed a window display from a nearby store that had several mannequins wearing only underwear. It hit him that he still hadn’t bought underwear for He Zhiqiu.
He knew she had been busy and likely fell into bed after arriving in the morning. She probably didn’t have time to wash her underwear, which meant she might not have any clean ones to wear when she saw her dad. So, Charlie decided to go in and buy some.
Once inside, he realized it was a high-end store that exclusively sold women’s underwear. The sales staff was female, and there were a few customers browsing the items.
Charlie Wade walked into a lingerie shop, and everyone inside noticed him right away. As a big man, he felt out of place but decided to make a quick purchase. He pointed to a black lace underwear set on display and said, “I’ll take this one, please.”
The saleswoman looked a bit uncomfortable and asked, “Sir, what size do you need?”
“Size?” Charlie frowned, trying to remember. “I’m about 1 meter tall and pretty thin.”
The salesperson nodded, then asked, “And what cup size does your girlfriend wear?”
Charlie felt embarrassed thinking about it. He thought, “How would I know He Zhiqiu’s cup size? I haven’t touched her, and she didn’t tell me.” He remembered seeing He Zhiqiu in loose outdoor sportswear with anti-war slogans, which made it hard to tell anything about her figure. So, he hesitantly replied, “Um, I don’t know the exact size, but it shouldn’t be too big.”
The saleswoman, still a bit awkward, suggested, “That should be an A cup. Let me get you a size.”
“Okay! Hurry up!” Charlie urged.
After a moment, the saleswoman returned with two neatly packaged underwear sets and asked, “Would you like to open them to check for any flaws?”
Feeling too embarrassed to inspect women’s underwear in front of everyone, Charlie quickly replied, “No, just ring me up. Do you want me to pay you or will you take my payment?”
The salesperson quickly responded, “Wait a minute!”
“I will sweep you!”
The salesperson carefully packed the underwear into a bag and scanned the code to complete the sale. After checking out, Charlie Wade hurriedly waited for his receipt before grabbing the bag of underwear and rushing out.
The salesperson watched Charlie leave and then glanced at the mannequin behind her. She whispered to herself, “I never expected such a handsome guy to come in here and buy such revealing T-shaped underwear for his girlfriend all by himself.”
