Li Yalin replied, “If he can’t reach me, he’ll probably come back every day. Eventually, if he realizes I might not return, he could try to take over the business again.”

Charlie nodded, “In that case, we might not have control over the situation. Why not just call him directly? You could say you have urgent matters back home that will take a month or two.”

“Don’t worry, you’ll be back before the two months are up,” Charlie Wade said reassuringly.

He continued, “It’s better to create a sense of urgency. Make him think you might be in serious trouble and may not return in two months.”

“Okay,” replied Li Yalin. “Let’s try to get him to resume production tomorrow.”

With that, he quickly turned on his phone and called the factory director.
