- The Amazing Son-in-Law [The Charismatic Charlie Wade] (Chinese name) Chapter: 7104
The private doctor noticed that Hank was eager to return to the United States. To make sure everything was in order, he arranged for a thorough physical examination, even if it seemed a bit excessive.
He kept his thoughts to himself, though, as he was benefiting from Hank’s visit. By helping Hank, he could earn money from both him and the hospital. Hank would pay him, and the hospital would give him a commission.
The doctor quickly got in touch with the hospital staff and asked them to begin the physical exams right away. The first step was a blood test. Since Hank needed several routine tests, including some unusual tumor marker tests, the doctor took four tubes of blood.
Just as the nurse was about to remove the needle, Hank remembered something important. “Oh, wait! Can you take some more blood for a systematic toxin test? I want to check if I’ve been poisoned or if I have any strange heavy metals or radioactive elements in me,” he said.
The nurse was a bit confused but still took three more tubes of blood to include tests for toxins, heavy metals, and radioactive substances. She sent the samples to the lab right away for urgent testing.
In a regular hospital, getting results could take at least half an hour or even several days. But here, all the resources were focused on Hank, so he would have his results by dawn.
After the blood draw, Hank provided a urine sample. Then the nurse helped him onto a mobile bed, and he was wheeled around to different exam departments.
Hank didn’t have to worry about anything; he just lay there while the doctors took care of all the tests. The nurses first brought him to the ultrasound room for a complete examination.
Hank had an ultrasound, and the results were clear. The doctor examined his organs and found everything looked normal, especially his pancreas, which was healthy.
With a smile, the doctor said, “Based on my 30 years of experience, I can assure you that your internal organs and lymphatic system are all fine.”
Hank asked, “So, there are no signs of pancreatic cancer?”
The doctor reassured him, “The ultrasound showed no swelling or unusual masses. Overall, your health looks good.”
However, the doctor added, “Ultrasound can only check certain organs. I recommend getting a chest CT scan later to check your lungs. The ribs can block the view, so ultrasound and X-rays might not give us a complete picture.”
Hank’s personal doctor said, “If you’re still concerned, we can do an enhanced CT scan. But keep in mind, it requires a contrast agent, which has some radioactivity and possible side effects.”
After hearing this, Hank felt relieved. The ultrasound results were positive, and he realized he had probably been worried for no reason, influenced by Charlie Wade.
He thought to himself, how could a simple eye exam compare to the precision of a Doppler ultrasound?
