In the middle of their conversation, a sudden tremor shook the ground nearby!

From one of the cages, a blinding white light burst out!

Boom!

With a thunderous crash, a figure exploded through the cage walls!

“Bloody hell! Who’s the fool putting cages at the end of the Great Path’s guidance? What a dirty trick!”

Hu Mazi stormed over, cursing furiously.

Xiu Rui stared at him, slightly trembling, and asked, “Friend Chen, is this the companion you were looking for?”

“Yeah!” Kai nodded, then turned to Hu Mazi. “Master Hu, where are we?”

“No clue, but this must be the Heavenly Realm. Just don’t know which idiot set up all these cages!”

Hu Mazi glanced around as he spoke.

“Master Hu, since your memories are back, can you tell me about the Heavenly Realm’s rules, structure, and cultivation ranks?”

Kai pressed for answers.

“Rules? Structure? The Heavenly Realm’s got none of that nonsense. It’s all about power. If your realm’s high and your strength is overwhelming, you are the rules. You are the order.”

“You think the so-called Laws of Heaven just appeared out of nowhere? Nah, the Saints made them. They’re at the top, so whatever they say becomes law.”

“One day, if you become Master of the Universe, the Heavenly Realm won’t be a big deal, and even those Saints will be like flies—easy to swat!”

Hu Mazi grumbled, clearly irritated.

“Quit hyping me up and just explain the Heavenly Realm already!” Kai snapped, clearly annoyed.

If the Red Cloud Demon Lord hadn’t stepped in earlier, he’d still be stuck in that cage. Master of the Universe? That was a distant dream. Right now, he just needed to understand this realm.

“You probably already know the Heavenly Realm is made up of thirty-six heavens, right?” Hu Mazi began.
“Yeah!” Kai nodded.

“The thirty-six heavens are divided into three tiers: lower twelve, middle twelve, and upper twelve. Each group of twelve is further split into smaller planes, with every three heavens forming one.”

“Monks guided by the Great Path or other methods all end up in the first three heavens. The immortals there are Loose Immortals—rogue cultivators without an official seal.”

“That’s why those in the first three heavens are looked down upon. Some would rather painstakingly ascend on their own than rely on the Great Path’s guidance.”

“Those who cultivate and ascend naturally go straight to the fourth heaven. They become Earth Immortals, the lowest official rank in the Heavenly Realm.”

“After that, it goes: Human Immortal, Heavenly Immortal, Upper Immortal, True Immortal, Golden Immortal, Great Luo Golden Immortal, Immortal Lord, Immortal King, Immortal Emperor, and finally, Saint…”

“Each realm has nine tiers. But in the Heavenly Realm, breakthroughs don’t trigger thunder tribulations. Instead, you must pass through the Immortal Ascension Platform. Every major rank-up requires conquering it!”

“You’re still at the Immortal Transformation Realm—not even a Loose Immortal. You’ve got a long way to go, mate…”

Hu Mazi clapped Kai on the shoulder as he spoke.

“Master Hu, before your reincarnation, which heaven were you in? What rank did you reach?” Kai asked.

“Ugh… I was at the peak of Human Immortal, just a step away from becoming a Heavenly Immortal and leaving the sixth heaven…”

“Then I got betrayed by a woman. Wasted thousands of years of cultivation—just like that…”

Hu Mazi’s expression twisted with bitterness and regret.

Xiu Rui, listening nearby, didn’t dare say a word.

Human Immortal?

That was seriously impressive! He’d fought tooth and nail and still couldn’t ascend, forcing him to take the Ladder to Heaven. Even if he managed to ascend now, he’d only become a Loose Immortal.

Earth Immortals were nobodies in the Heavenly Realm—so Loose Immortals like him? They barely existed in the eyes of others.

Kai, fully engrossed in Hu Mazi’s explanation, forgot to ask what ranks Nan Batian and the others had reached—or which heavens they might be in.
