Kai agreed that Bai Yi’s reasoning made sense. He turned to Aisha with a puzzled look, waiting for her explanation.

Aisha explained.

After hearing that, Kai quickly understood. These “mysterious outsiders” had to be from the temple. Feihu City must have become one of the temple’s pawns, which is why they were able to attack the Cangxuan Continent.

Kai knew this hiding spot wasn’t secure and could be discovered at any time.

He put his helmet back on, and the group of four began escorting Aisha out of the area.

The captain snarled and stepped forward to kick Kai.

But the moment the captain moved, a flash of cold light streaked through the air. Kai acted instantly—his Dragon Slaying Sword slashed through, and the captain’s head flew high into the sky.

Seeing Kai strike, Fengxian, Bai Yi, and Aisha also sprang into action.
