An Understated Dominance - Chapter 2357
“Die!” the nine Judes shouted together as they charged at Dalen.
The clones zipped around the battle ring, making it hard to tell what was real and what was just an illusion. It was nearly impossible to spot the real Jude among them.
Thanks to his skill in the Spectral Sprint technique, Jude was already difficult to follow. When he used the Spectral Clone technique, he became almost impossible to track.
Dalen quickly focused his energy to create a white barrier around himself. Just as the shield appeared, a flurry of punches struck from every direction. Each hit made the barrier ripple.
As the punches fell like a heavy rain, Dalen’s barrier shook violently, resembling a boat caught in a storm, ready to break at any moment.
“Do you think you can stop me? I’ll tear you apart!” Jude shouted, his anger fueling more punches.
As a well-known master on the Legendary List, Jude felt embarrassed to be attacked by a rookie. If he didn’t reclaim his honor right away, how could he hope to be respected in the martial world again?
While Jude kept attacking fiercely, Dalen didn’t rush to fight back. Instead, he concentrated on strengthening his barrier with his internal energy.
The many clones were a significant challenge. They made it impossible for Dalen to find the real Jude.
Every time a clone or the true Jude threw a punch, they vanished quickly, leaving Dalen with no chance to counterattack. At this rate, he wouldn’t last long, no matter how strong he was.
“Oh my gosh! Who could withstand this mix of Spectral Clone and Spectral Sprint techniques?” one spectator exclaimed.
“As expected from a master on the Legendary List, Jude is incredible. He can unleash such power, even when injured. Amazing,” another person added.
“To be fair, the disciple from the Shadow Citadel fought bravely. He was…
was taking hits in the center of the battle ring, and the spectators had mixed feelings about what they were seeing.
Some cheered for Jude, impressed by his strength and determination even though he was hurt. Others felt sympathy for Dalen, who almost pulled off a surprising victory and could have been another underdog like Caleb.
But unlike Caleb, who beat the ninth-ranked Sam with his skill, Dalen’s earlier advantage felt more like luck.
“What now? Mr. Shade is in trouble,” Ruby said, her anxiety growing as she watched the intense match.
Earlier, Dalen had impressed everyone with a series of strong moves, making Ruby think he might win. But then Jude adapted quickly and launched a powerful counterattack.
“Jude is really angry now. He’s showing why he’s on the Legendary List with his strength. It’s going to be tough for Mr. Shade to turn this around,” Crystal said, shaking her head.
Even though Jude was injured, he was still strong. With his Spectral Sprint and Spectral Clone techniques, he seemed unstoppable.
At that moment, Dalen was just defending himself. He needed a secret strategy to change the outcome of the fight.
“Die! Just die!” Jude shouted, growing more furious and aggressive with each blow. His energy surged as he unleashed a flurry of attacks on Dalen’s protective barrier.
Cracks started to form in the white barrier, fueling Jude’s determination. If he could break it, he could unleash his anger on Dalen.
But then, in the midst of the chaos, Dalen surprised everyone by closing his eyes. Jude’s techniques were hard to track, but Dalen seemed to be focusing.
Dalen knew he had to rely on his sharp senses to keep track of Jude’s unpredictable movements. It was like trying to find a needle in a haystack.
But Dalen had no choice. Jude’s relentless attacks were cracking the barrier around them, and the damage spread like a spider web.
“I’ll gladly grant your wish since you want to die,” Jude sneered. He focused all his energy and delivered a powerful punch to the barrier.
With a loud bang, the barrier shattered. Seizing the opportunity, Jude sent his clones and his real self to attack Dalen’s weak points.
At that moment, Dalen opened his eyes. He didn’t try to defend himself or dodge. Instead, he turned and pointed sharply at the fast-moving figure of Jude.
This simple gesture hid a powerful force that warped the space around them.
Jude’s fist hit Dalen hard, while Dalen’s finger struck precisely at Jude’s chest.
In an instant, Dalen was sent flying back as if he had been hit by a truck. He soared over 30 feet before landing and sliding several more feet before stopping. Blood dripped from his mouth and nose, a sign of Jude’s heavy punch.
In contrast, Jude remained still after Dalen’s finger hit him. His face showed shock and disbelief.
All of his clones disappeared, leaving only his real body standing in stunned silence. Despite using his Spectral Clone and Spectral Sprint techniques, he couldn’t understand how Dalen had found him so accurately. It was unbelievable.
“You… you…” Jude started to point at Dalen.
But before he could say anything else, he suddenly coughed up a mouthful of blood. In the next moment, he collapsed and lay unconscious.
