An Understated Dominance - Chapter 2411
“Mr. Rhys, I’m really sorry. I was wrong before. Please don’t hold it against me, and forgive me just this once,” Zayne stammered, his forehead sweating. He knew Dustin was a powerful grandmaster who could easily end his life.
“Don’t let it happen again,” Dustin warned, glaring at him coldly but choosing not to retaliate.
In Dustin’s mind, Zayne and his allies had already sealed their fate by working with the Hall of Gods and sneaking into Sacred Wrym Summit. It was only a matter of time before they met their end.
“Of course, Mr. Rhys. Thank you for being merciful,” Zayne replied, nodding repeatedly. His face showed a mix of relief and gratitude.
If it weren’t for Dustin’s generosity, Zayne realized today could have been his last. He learned a tough lesson: never flatter or misjudge a situation, or you might find yourself facing death.
“I’ll keep it brief. We all share the same goal. If we work together, I believe we can succeed in tonight’s mission,” Dustin said, looking around the room.
Everyone nodded in agreement, except for Willard.
Willard had been drinking absentmindedly, seeming completely indifferent to what was happening around him. He appeared lost in his own thoughts.
Dustin had a good impression of Willard. He didn’t seem the type to blindly follow the Hall of Gods. After all, Willard had stopped Garrett when he tried to attack Dustin earlier. If things went wrong tonight, Dustin wouldn’t hesitate to protect him.
“Alright, everyone. Take a moment to rest and recharge. When the time is right, we’ll head out together,” Hank announced. “I have something to take care of, so I’ll be stepping away for now.” He gave a quick nod to the group.
With two hours to go before midnight, there was plenty of time to get ready.
Hank quickly left the secluded courtyard and made his way over mountains and hills until he reached the Hall of Gods’ temporary command center. This base was located less than ten miles from Sacred Wrym Summit, in a remote area. It was well-guarded, both visibly and secretly, so no one could approach without being noticed. Even Hank had to show his credentials to get inside.
Once inside the command center, Hank found the meeting hall crowded with people. At the front was Bailey, surrounded by the Hall of Gods’ top-tier elites from around the world. Among them were Bloodbeast Willem, the Sword Sage from Kimboku, Anthony Alessandro, and three of the deadliest assassins from Eskus—Vanzan, Shyvan, and Noir. Batuul, the Fist Sage from Alabastria, was also present. These were ultimate grandmasters—some of the most powerful figures from all over.
Everyone had gathered with a single purpose: to infiltrate Sacred Wrym Summit, steal its rare treasures, and defeat the Dracan force. Along with the ultimate grandmasters, the Hall of Gods had sent over a dozen grandmasters of godly rank to supervise the mission. They also had a team of several hundred highly skilled death warriors. In short, they had pulled out all the stops to ensure this mission would succeed. Failure was not an option.
Once the main forces were assembled, Bailey waved his hand, and a group of attendants entered the meeting hall carrying a crafted box.
“Everyone, this is the latest enhanced serum developed by the Hall of Gods. Each of you will receive two bottles. After taking it, your strength will increase dramatically. Feel free to try it,” Bailey announced loudly.
As the box opened, two vials—one red and one blue—were revealed. Without hesitation, the god-level experts picked up the vials and drank.
group was buzzing with excitement. They watched as Anthony took the lead, showing his trust in the Hall of Gods by trying the enhanced serum first.
“I’ve heard a lot about the Hall of Gods’ enhanced serum. I’ll be the first to try it,” Anthony said confidently. He grabbed the vials without a second thought and gulped them down in one go.
Almost instantly, warmth spread through his body. His heart raced, and he felt a surge of energy. His strength felt greater than ever, and his inner power intensified.
“This is amazing! Thank you, Grizz Lord, for this serum,” Anthony said, bowing deeply to Bailey in gratitude.
“Please, Mr. Alessandro, no need for such formalities. We’re allies, and helping each other is what we do,” Bailey chuckled. “If you’re interested, we can form a long-term partnership. The Hall of Gods can supply you with as much serum as you need.”
“That sounds fantastic! I look forward to working together,” Anthony replied, his face brightening with excitement.
He knew the enhanced serum had side effects—it needed to be taken once a year, or its effects would fade. But if he could secure a long-term deal with the Hall of Gods, he wouldn’t have to worry about running out.
“Is it really that good? I want to try it too!” Willem said with a mischievous smile. Without waiting for a response, he quickly drank a mix of red and blue liquid.
As soon as the serum entered his system, color returned to his pale face, and a fierce light shone in his eyes.
“Wow, this is incredible! Just as I expected from the Hall of Gods!” Willem laughed joyfully, feeling stronger than ever.
Seeing Anthony and Willem’s reactions, the others exchanged eager looks and quickly drank the serum as well. The entire room filled with a sense of thrill and anticipation.
The hall was filled with looks of amazement.
