Chapter 3316
Clive: “…”
The two were on a phone call, but Zachary claimed he wasn’t speaking to him.
Clive, realizing that Zachary should be attending to little Sonny, remained calm and didn’t lose his temper.
“You can speak now.” Zachary finally addressed Clive.
If Clive hadn’t known that his cousin was still resting at that moment, he wouldn’t have bothered to talk to Zachary on the phone or pay attention to his tone.
It felt as if Zachary was preparing to report something.
Suppressing his frustration, Clive said, “The old miracle doctor came by with my grandmother’s assistant, accompanied by several elderly individuals. They might be some of the masters who once dominated the world decades ago. Tell Serenity that if she can come, she should come with him.”

“Old miracle doctor?” Zachary frowned. “Are you certain they are the old miracle doctor and his companions?”
“I’m not entirely sure. I’ll ask Remy to come and verify. Remy has met the old miracle doctor before. However, I believe they are being truthful. None of those worldly experts would risk impersonating someone else. His disciples have connections worldwide.”
The apprentice who inquired about Silver Fox had the most extensive network.
The loudest among them was the old thief, Sariyah’s master. Sariyah is now the head wife of the Lafayette family in Meadspring.
The identities of the other disciples were also revealed, and the mere mention of Sariyah and Lilian’s names terrified many.
Lilian, in particular, was rumored to be a master in medicine and poison. Not only was she a doctor, but she was also an expert poisoner, which was quite alarming.
Zachary responded,
“Alright, I will inform Seren that she is definitely going there, and I will accompany her,” he said.
The elderly assistant of the late matriarch, Farrell, had been located, which was significant news. Serenity needed to visit the Stone family, and it was only natural for him to accompany her.
“Okay, you all come here early; I’ll wake my mother first,” Clive said before ending the call.
Sonny had listened to the entire conversation, and once he saw Zachary put down his phone, he jumped into Zachary’s arms, already dressed.
Zachary quickly embraced him.
“Uncle, where are you taking my aunt? I want to go too!” Sonny inquired.
“We’re going to your aunt’s house, but you have kindergarten. In two days, when it’s a holiday, I’ll take you to your aunt’s for a few days,” Zachary explained.
Sonny pouted, “Can’t I take a leave? My uncle is biased, taking my aunt to Aunt Elisa’s house instead of me.”
Zachary playfully patted Sonny on the bottom and replied confidently, “Why would I favor just your aunt? Can you bite me? My wife is your aunt, and she’ll be with me for life. I don’t show favoritism.”
“Will you live with your uncle forever? When you grow up and have a wife, you might not even recognize your uncle anymore. Tell me, who is closer to me? Obviously, it’s your aunt, so it makes sense that I prefer her,” Sonny retorted.
Sonny was left speechless. Zachary’s logic was hard to argue with. With his mother away, Sonny was living with Serenity and Zachary, but once she returned, he would go home.
He realized he couldn’t be with Zachary every day.
“Then…uncle, if you’re going to favor my aunt, just do it a little bit, and please be nice to me. I won’t argue with my aunt anymore,” Sonny pleaded, his eyes wide and innocent.
