Chapter 3350
Do Callum and Camryn really have a poor relationship? Are Kevin and Hayden struggling to get along? And let’s not forget about Tatum. I went to great lengths to choose Elora for him, and he doesn’t seem to mind having her nearby. Even though the New Year is approaching and he’s thousands of miles away, he still wants to rush over to be with his wife.
The issue is that Evan is disobedient. He enjoys taking detours, so let him take eighteen detours until he starts to question his life choices, haha.

The old lady’s later comments clearly showed she was relishing someone else’s misfortune.
If Evan ignores her advice, he will face significant consequences.
With so many obedient grandchildren, it’s amusing to have just one who is disobedient. Haha.
Zachary and Serenity exchanged glances.
Zachary quietly held his wife’s hand, feeling grateful that he ultimately compromised and followed his grandmother’s wishes to marry Serenity. Otherwise, he would have been unaware of the punishment his grandmother had in store for him, compelling him to pursue his wife through the crematorium.
“Grandma.”
Taking advantage of the fact that only the driver and the two of them were in the car, Serenity asked for confirmation, “Is the girl Evan likes the same as the Abby you chose for him?”
The old lady smiled and said, “You two have guessed correctly, but don’t tell anyone. Even Evan is a bit slow. I’ve repeatedly warned him not to regret his choices and not to come to us for help while pursuing his wife at the crematorium, but he hasn’t listened. He deserves to take the long way around.”
Serenity smiled.
and said, “That’s true; I hadn’t even considered it. Zachary was the one who brought it up. After he analyzed it with me, it started to make sense.”
“The old lady praised Zachary, saying, “Zack is still sharp and understands me best.”
Serenity interjected, “But how can Abby be the girl that Evan likes? Based on Evan’s description, they seem to have very different personalities. The girl he likes appears to have a flamboyant temper and exceptional skills, while Abby is the complete opposite—a straightforward woman with no hint of arrogance.”
The old lady smiled and responded, “Seren, do you really think I visited all those places just to randomly find wives for them? Not only do we seek suitable matches for their personalities, but we also aim to enhance our York family’s connections, status, and influence. Of course, being a blacksmith requires strength, so we must first ensure our children are well-trained.”
She continued, “Having many powerful relatives can actually be detrimental if you lack the necessary skills. They can easily take everything you have. Only when you possess the ability can you truly protect your family’s assets.”
There are both advantages and disadvantages to marriages among wealthy families. The upside is that they can bring mutual benefits. If they form a business alliance, their combined strength increases.
On the downside, if one party is weak and unable to maintain their ancestral property, it’s often those closest to you who are quick to seize it and divide it.
Businesspeople prioritize profits; that principle remains constant.
“The good news is that your grandparents trained all of your brothers. Even Rowan is still young, but with eight capable brothers, he can’t be any worse off than you. If he truly lacks ability in the future, each of you can help him.”
“I may not have the energy to educate the next generation, but I can…”
I will likely be able to educate the child in Seren’s belly for a few more years. However, for the future children, I won’t have the energy or the longevity to educate them.
Zack and Seren, as the eldest brother and sister-in-law, it is important that you and your wife are well-prepared for the next generation and the generations to follow. In our York family, men typically marry virtuous wives. Please maintain this tradition, as a virtuous wife benefits three generations.
Zachary and Serenity both wore serious expressions. Zachary replied earnestly, “Grandma, we understand.”
