Tania responded, “Yes, Sonny is now a pendant on the old lady’s thigh. She takes him with her wherever she goes. Seren returned to the office today as well. She mentioned having something important to handle. Everything is in order, and tomorrow she will take Sonny to FC Manor along with the old doctor and others.”
At this moment, Tania glanced around and then asked Audrey in a hushed tone, “Audrey, is something wrong in Jensburg?”
Audrey’s expression remained unchanged. “Why do you ask? What’s happened in Jensburg? I haven’t seen anything in the news.”
Audrey still wanted to feign ignorance.

Tania shot her a piercing look and said, “Audrey, you might be able to deceive Seren and the younger ones, but don’t hide the truth from me. While I may not have your power, I manage the York family’s affairs and have connections. I am aware of everything I should know and want to know.
Though I haven’t actively sought out information, I noticed Zack leaving early and returning late, and even Seren hasn’t seen him. It feels off. I know how deeply Zack cares for Seren; a day without seeing his wife seems like an eternity to him.
How can he stand not seeing her when we’re all under the same roof? The only reason for his behavior must be guilt and the fact that he’s hiding something from Seren, fearing she’ll discover it. That’s why he deliberately leaves early and returns late to avoid encountering a clear-headed Seren.

She should focus on managing her company, and once the baby arrives and she has recovered, she can gradually take over our family business.”
