Camryn said, “Mrs. Labbe, you’re very considerate. No matter how grand a bouquet you want, I can help you select it. I guarantee your mother-in-law will be pleased.”
Mrs. Labbe replied, “As a daughter-in-law, I should opt for a modest bouquet. The grand arrangement should be left to my father-in-law. I don’t want to overshadow him.”

Camryn smiled and asked, “Would you like to pick it up tomorrow? What time works for you?”
Mrs. Labbe answered, “I’ll come by around ten in the morning. The gifts I ordered won’t be ready until then. After I collect the other gifts, I’ll stop by here for the bouquet before heading home. It’s more convenient that way.”
Camryn responded, “Alright, I’ll have it prepared for you. You can collect it when you arrive.”
“Hey, do you really dare to buy flowers from her? The flowers she sells come from trash cans. They’re not fresh at all, or they’re picked from cemeteries for people to honor their ancestors,” the fake Carrie shouted loudly on purpose.

Mrs. Labbe looked at Camryn and asked, “Second Young Madam, who is this person? Is she foolish? Can flowers from a trash can really be that fresh? How many bouquets can one collect from a cemetery in a single day? Most cemetery flowers are chrysanthemums.”
She continued, “Look at the flowers here, Second Young Madam. They are fresh and tender, clearly just cut. There are a few chrysanthemums, but not many. If it were a festival, there wouldn’t be nearly enough chrysanthemums available in the store.”
Camryn replied, “She is my half-sister. She came to ask for money to live a carefree life. When I refused to give her any, she started sabotaging me and tried to hinder my business. She doesn’t think things through. She’s so foolish that she often helps others count money even after being exploited herself.”
“She has been spoiled by my mom and stepdad. She has no understanding of reality or consequences. She is very willful, and I’m not sure who will be able to control her in the future.”
The latter statement had deeper implications, but neither of the two Carries grasped its meaning. The impostor had little knowledge of the real Carrie, whose intelligence was questionable at best.
If she had been smarter, she wouldn’t have ended up being kept and exploited by Mr. Labbe.
“Mrs. Labbe, the flowers in my shop are shipped from major suppliers every morning. They are all freshly picked. There’s no truth to the idea that they are sourced from trash cans or cemeteries,” Camryn clarified.
Mrs. Labbe smiled and said, “Of course I believe you, Second Young Madam. How many flowers could one possibly find in trash cans? You might see a few on Valentine’s Day, but not on other occasions.”
She then asked, “How old is your sister, Second Young Madam? She looks to be in her early twenties and seems capable. Can’t she earn her own money? Why does she come to you for financial support? I’ve heard about your past. Didn’t your sister always bully you? It’s so shameless of her to ask you for money now; she has no sense of shame.”
