Chapter 3593
Bianca had no reason to suspect that Camryn was lying to her. After all, Camryn was merely her sister-in-law, and her brother-in-law was no longer a child. How could a sister-in-law possibly keep track of her brother-in-law’s whereabouts at all times?
Given that Evan might not return until the middle of the night, it was understandable that Camryn didn’t know where he was.
“I came back very late last night, so I stayed home to rest today,” Evan said as he descended the stairs and walked straight toward them.
He nodded politely at Bianca, addressing her as “Miss Bianca.”
Bianca acknowledged his greeting with a nod.
Evan’s attention shifted back to Camryn. “Sister-in-law, are you going to fly a kite?”
“Yes, I mentioned it casually this morning, and your brother sent me two kites. Since there’s still some wind, Bianca and I are going out to fly them. Evan, there’s food in the kitchen if you’re hungry. It should still be warm,” Camryn replied.
After speaking, Camryn took Bianca’s hand and led her outside.
Evan naturally followed them.
As Bianca turned to him, she asked, “Fourth Young Master York, are you going to fly a kite with us?”

Evan replied, “It’s stuffy inside, and it’s windy outside. Let’s go out for some fresh air. Will my joining you affect your kite flying, Miss Bianca?”
Bianca quickly responded, “No, not at all. Fourth Young Master York, this is your home. You’re free to go wherever you like.”
Evan chose not to say anything further.
The two women engaged in conversation about cosmetics, skincare, and other topics of interest to women, occasionally touching on business matters. When they did discuss business, Camryn did most of the talking, while Bianca…
She listened, providing her input only occasionally. Evan followed them quietly, while Bianca refrained from sharing too many opinions, wary that Evan might grow more suspicious of her.
Upon arriving at the expansive lawn, they encountered several children from the household staff already flying kites. Camryn was not the only one with the idea to enjoy kites on this windy day.
When they saw Camryn, the second young lady of the house, flying her kite, the children rushed over to admire her and Bianca’s kites, showering them with compliments about their beauty.
Meanwhile, the elderly lady and her friends continued their card game, glancing occasionally at the lawn’s activity. Though their view was limited, they recognized that a group of children was engaged in kite flying.
Evan simply observed.
Camryn, who seldom flew kites, faced difficulties at first and failed several times. In contrast, Bianca’s kite soared effortlessly into the air.
Noticing Camryn’s challenges, Bianca smiled and handed her kite string to Camryn, assisting her in getting her kite airborne. With Bianca’s support, Camryn’s kite ascended high into the sky.
As kites filled the air, two of them became entangled. The children, alarmed, tugged at the strings, causing one kite to break and plummet to the ground, while the other became stuck in a tree.
The children hurried to the tree, with some attempting to climb it.
“Be careful, the tree is tall. You don’t want to fall,” Bianca warned. “Let me help you retrieve it.”
Camryn added, “Please be cautious.”
“Don’t worry, I have experience. This has happened to me before,” Bianca reassured her. She handed Camryn the kite string and began to ascend the tree.
Those who practice martial arts are different—Bianca climbed the tree with agility, reaching the kite in just a few swift movements.
Evan observed her intently.
