Mr. Jimenez was quite old now. Although he had once been a master, he no longer possessed the strength to overpower the gravekeepers.

Audrey and her husband were concerned that Mr. Jimenez was fatigued, so they suggested stopping for a rest before proceeding. However, Mr. Jimenez was reluctant to stop. “We’re almost there. We can see Clarissa’s bodyguards just a few minutes ahead.”

Though he was tired, he didn’t want to pause. He feared that resting would only leave him feeling more exhausted and diminish his resolve to continue.

Audrey looked ahead and indeed spotted Clarissa’s bodyguards.

Clarissa had set out today with ten bodyguards. Two personal bodyguards remained close to her at the tomb of the former head of the family, while the other eight were dispersed along the path, vigilant of their surroundings.

Even though this was the private cemetery of the Farrell family, the towering pines and cypresses obstructed visibility. They were concerned that someone might be lurking behind the trees, waiting for a chance to harm Clarissa.
