Chapter 3648
– Titus discreetly glanced at Jane and Ben. Noticing this, Ben smiled and said, “Worried I’ll assign you homework?”
“But once New Year’s passes and summer vacation arrives, I’ll arrange some classes for you.” Titus’s expression fell, and suddenly, his breakfast lost its appeal.
Then he remembered that summer vacation was still six months away, and his spirits lifted. Breakfast tasted good again. Ben then turned to Serenity and suggested, “What classes does Sonny usually take? Next summer, the two boys could either play together or attend classes together.
Having a buddy might help them learn faster.” Serenity responded, “It might be difficult for me to manage that unless Titus goes there.” Even if she had completed her recovery by then, the baby would still be too young, making it inconvenient for her to travel far.
If Titus went to Wiltspoon, it would be too much for her to handle. However, if Jane took her twins along with Titus to Wiltspoon, it would be manageable. Titus’s guardians were Ben and Jane.
By summer, Jane’s twins would be walking, and if they stayed at Wildridge Manor, the house would be filled with life.
The old lady would be overjoyed, especially since she adored Avah. Ben smiled and concurred, “Exactly. Even if you’re out of recovery, the baby will still be too young to travel. So, the boys will just have to meet up occasionally.”
He refrained from suggesting that his wife and kids visit Wildridge Manor as guests, fearing that Old Madam York might want to keep Avah.
Serenity replied, “That’s alright. There’s plenty of time. We’ll have many opportunities in the future.” When Elisa marries into the Johnson family, the two families will grow even closer, and future generations will likely remain connected.
Sonny and Titus had
They had already become childhood friends, almost like brothers, and their friendship would keep both families close, ensuring a lifelong bond.
The boys were only two or three years older than Enzo, and once Enzo learned to walk, he would likely follow his older brothers everywhere.
They would grow up together, forming a strong connection. Jane nodded and said, “Yes, there’s plenty of time. When your baby gets older, we can get together every winter and summer break so the kids can play.”
Serenity agreed with a nod. She observed Jane attempting to feed Avah some solid food, but Avah didn’t seem interested. “Does Avah not like solid food?”
“Not really. I just give her a little to help her get used to it. Enzo isn’t picky, though; he eats whatever you give him.” Jane glanced at Enzo, who was being fed by the nanny. “My love for food didn’t pass down to Avah, but Enzo definitely inherited it.”
The siblings had the same meal. Avah still had most of hers left, while Enzo had finished all of his. “It’s great to be a foodie; that way, you’re not picky and will eat everything.”
“Avah is like her dad. Ben acts like he isn’t picky and claims he’ll eat anything, but I’ve learned otherwise after over ten years.”
Ben coughed and looked at Jane, saying, “Jane, we have guests. Can you please not embarrass me?” Serenity smiled and replied, “Sounds just like my husband.”
Both of them say they aren’t picky and will eat anything, but those are just words meant to make us feel better. Serenity thought to herself how lucky she was that she wasn’t a bad cook. If her food were terrible, would Zachary still compliment it while eating?
