Chapter 3726
Married At First Sight Chapter 3726
In Chapter 3726 of Married At First Sight, Liberty smiled and said, “I hadn’t planned on picking you up. If you had let me know earlier, I would have, but since you didn’t, it’s better for you to take a taxi now rather than wait over an hour for me.”
This arrangement was more convenient for everyone.
“I’m heading back to the company now. Just send me a message when you’re nearby, and I’ll come to meet you,” she added.
Duncan smiled and replied, “Okay, we’ll take a taxi and I’ll message you when we arrive. Where were you earlier?”
“I went to Farrell Group to check on Kathryn. She’s a good person,” Liberty responded.
Duncan hesitated for a moment before asking, “Are you certain she doesn’t harbor any resentment toward you?”
“Not at all. Based on her expression and behavior, I can tell she doesn’t blame any of us. What happened was her mother’s fault. Clarissa got what she deserved. Kathryn has solid values.”
Liberty trusted her ability to read people and felt confident that Kathryn was genuine.
Duncan had also done some research when he first met Kathryn and discovered that she was fair-minded and reasonable.
“Liberty, I’m calling a taxi now. Let’s discuss more when we meet. How about dinner tonight, just the two of us?”
Liberty readily agreed, “Sounds good.”
After ending the call, Liberty couldn’t help but smile.
Jim, who was sitting in the passenger seat, turned to tease her.
Liberty retorted, “If you’re jealous, find yourself a girlfriend and treat her well.”
Jim replied, “I haven’t found the right one yet. The women I meet only want to get close to the young master through me. Forget it. When I’m a bit older, I’ll return home for a blind date and marry someone from there. The girls in my hometown don’t know about the young…”
Jim was cautious about the women in Wiltspoon, fearing they might use him to get closer to his boss, Zachary. They feigned affection for him, but their true interest lay in Zachary, as Jim had been his personal bodyguard for years and had earned his trust. To ensure Liberty’s safety and help Jim avoid being manipulated by those seeking access to Zachary, the latter had sent Jim to Jensburg.
“Zachary and Serenity have been married for years, and a baby is on the way, yet some women still pursue Zachary,” Liberty remarked with a sigh. “It’s challenging when a man is so handsome.”
Fortunately, not many women were interested in Duncan. Perhaps it was due to the scar on his face or his rugged appearance, which didn’t attract most of the high-society women in Wiltspoon. Even Sonny had initially been intimidated by Duncan because of the scar.
However, Duncan had a soft spot for Sonny and always attempted to hold him, despite not being very skilled at handling children. He often brought him windmills as gifts.
Jim quickly defended Zachary, stating, “Sister Liberty, our eldest master is completely loyal. In his heart and mind, there’s only the eldest mistress. No other woman, aside from family, can get close to him. He was like that before, and he remains so now. He always has bodyguards with him to keep those infatuated girls at bay. Take Miss Stone, for example—she pursued him for years, but even she eventually gave up.”
Elisa had moved on once she discovered Zachary was married, realizing that as a wealthy woman, she didn’t need to compete for any man.
