Chapter 3738
Married At First Sight Chapter 3738
In Chapter 3738 of Married At First Sight, Carrie instructed the bodyguard, “Take me to my rental house. I need to change back into my original identity and head to Spring Blossoms.”
The bodyguard coolly responded, “Your sister’s associates are watching the rental house. If you go there now, it will raise suspicion and jeopardize everything the boss has arranged.”
Carrie hesitated before saying, “Alright, go home first. I’ll change my clothes, remove my makeup, and then head there.”
She also intended to check if the substitute had damaged any of her belongings. If they had, she would make them pay for it.
The bodyguard remained silent.
Back at the Labbe villa, Carrie stripped off her disguise, removed her makeup, changed her clothes, and returned to her original appearance. After grabbing her backpack, she left.
The bodyguards watched her depart without intervening. As long as she didn’t raise suspicion with Camryn or anyone else, they were unconcerned about her actions.
Carrie had just been scolded by their boss over the phone, but he sent her money afterward. Knowing Carrie, she was likely still upset about the reprimand. When she was angry, she often went to Spring Blossoms to annoy her sister.
Although it never ended well for her and she usually came out on the losing side, she continued to do it—perhaps to vent her frustrations.
Her siblings were the only ones who tolerated her behavior.
After receiving the money from Mr. Labbe, Carrie’s anger dissipated. She felt bored and decided to cause some trouble at Spring Blossoms or, at the very least, have an argument with Camryn. Around Camryn, she felt free to speak her mind without restraint. That had always been her nature.
Meanwhile, at the flower shop, Camryn sneezed twice.
“Sis, you should wear something warmer when you go out. You’re going to catch a cold. You sneezed earlier, and now you’re sneezing again,” said Trenton, who had just returned to Wiltspoon at noon after working temporarily at their family business. The first thing he did upon his return was visit Camryn’s flower shop. He was already familiar with her routine: she was either at the shop, at home, or sometimes at Wildridge Manor.
“Eldest sister, are you coming down with a cold?” Trenton inquired.
Camryn wiped her nose with a tissue. “It’s probably because your second sister has been bad-mouthing me behind my back,” she replied. “She must have said some pretty harsh things.”
Trenton paused. “Is Second Sister okay?”
He hadn’t seen Carrie since coming back and felt a bit hesitant to do so. Whenever they met, Carrie complained that he favored Camryn over her, always reminding him that she was his real sister.
But Camryn was his real sister too. They shared the same mother, and although their fathers were different, they were brothers. Camryn was important to him, but that didn’t mean he neglected Carrie. It was Carrie who constantly obsessed over small issues.
“Carrie’s fine,” Camryn said. “She does nothing but eat, drink, and play all day. When she runs low on money, she comes to me, causing trouble and demanding cash. She’s got it pretty easy.”
“Does she ask you for money often?” Trenton asked.
He wasn’t too concerned about Carrie causing trouble, since Camryn always had bodyguards around her. Carrie might be impulsive, but even she should realize that Camryn was always holding back—otherwise, Carrie would have been hurt by now.
