Serenity joined him, glancing at the flowers on the stand. “That’s only because your balcony has enough space. In a smaller balcony, planting flowers would be a waste, not to mention adding a swing chair.”

“Are you getting used to this coffee?” he asked.

“It’s fine as long as it does the trick,” she answered.

Leaning back in her chair, Serenity added, “I just ordered an automatic coffee machine and some coffee beans online. I won’t let you drink instant coffee again; it just feels wrong.”

Zachary admitted, “This is the first time I’ve had instant coffee.”
