Romina ( Lan Ruoruo ) put down the bouquet and took the brocade box, opening it to examine it. It was a complete set, simple and elegant in design, exactly what she liked.
She just liked simple and elegant things.
“Would you like me to cut it up for you?”
Zhan Wei asked considerately. He
was eager to see how it would look on her.
After examining it, Romina ( Lan Ruoruo ) closed the brocade box and put it back in the bag. He pushed the bag back in front of Zhan Wei and said, “Zhan Wei, this is too valuable. I can’t accept it.”
“We haven’t reached that point yet.”
The bouquet was worthless, so she could accept it.
But she wouldn’t accept an expensive gift, fearing it wouldn’t work out between them and she’d owe him too much.
Zhan Wei looked her in deep thought and said, “Romina ( Lan Ruoruo ), I’m pursuing you. Men always give gifts when pursuing women. My set of jewelry isn’t expensive, just over a hundred thousand. I think it’s probably the cheapest of all your jewelry.”

She smiled, “You came here to treat me to a meal, didn’t you? I’ve already finished work and was waiting for you to treat me to a meal.”
Zhan Wei smiled, “Then, let’s go to the Yangcheng Hotel. I’ve booked a private room there.”
