Chapter: 3082
Xiao Churan smiled and said, “I can’t do silly things like that. I’ll just focus on my design.”
Seeing Charlie and Xiao Churan whispering and laughing together, Dong Ruolin felt a bit jealous. She couldn’t help but complain, “You two should keep your affection in check. Don’t flaunt it in public!”
Xiao Churan smiled and replied, “Ruo Lin, since we’re all here, let’s go inside together instead of standing out here.”
Dong Ruolin nodded and followed Charlie and Xiao Churan into the venue for security checks and ticket inspection.
Inside the stadium, it was packed with people. Most of the fans were there for Gu Qiuyi, waving glowing light sticks and holding LED signs with her name. The sight was amazing, especially when thousands of fans waved their lights at the same time.
Charlie had never been to a concert before, and he was taken aback by the excitement of it all.
Just then, Xiao Churan looked worried and said, “Oh no! I forgot to prepare my fan materials!”
Charlie asked, confused, “Fan materials?”
“Yes!” Xiao Churan pointed to the fans around them, who were all ready with their glow sticks and signs. “Look at how prepared they are!”
Charlie chuckled and said, “It’s just a concert, my wife. Don’t get too worked up. You love Gu Qiuyi, so just enjoy her performance later.”
Xiao Churan sighed and replied, “I love her songs and admire her as a person. As a fan, I just wish I could do more for my idol.”
“I’ve been so busy at work lately that I’ve forgotten to support Gu Qiuyi. As her loyal fan, I feel really ashamed,” Xiao Churan admitted.
Charlie Wade noticed that Xiao Churan was feeling guilty, but he didn’t quite understand why. He thought about how fans support their favorite stars. To him, if you truly admire a star—whether it’s their music or their acting—you should appreciate their talent without losing yourself in it.
For example, if you love a singer, just enjoy their songs. If you like an actor, watch their movies. There’s no need to go overboard or let it affect your real life too much.
He remembered how some fans would pay thousands for concert tickets, even if they couldn’t really afford it. Many of them save money in other areas of their lives just to see their idols perform. Charlie felt this wasn’t very sensible. He recalled a story about a fan who overspent her parents’ money to chase after a Hong Kong star, which led to serious problems for her family.
So, he said to Xiao Churan, “Wife, it’s important to appreciate the celebrity, but don’t become too obsessed. When you appreciate them, you see yourself as their equal. But if you become infatuated, you lose that balance. Just by supporting Gu Qiuyi, you’re already doing enough. There’s no need for anything more.”
Xiao Churan nodded, feeling a bit relieved. “You’re right, good husband. I understand.”
Wade chuckled lightly and said, “That’s great! If you know, please take your seat quickly. The show is about to start!”
