The car quickly reached the departure area of the airport. Since Ma Lan didn’t want Charlie and Xiao Churan to come inside, he parked on the side of the road. He helped her with her luggage, and they watched as she pushed her suitcase toward the entrance.

Just before entering the airport, Ma Lan waved to them and called out, “Churan, Charlie, head back quickly!”

Seeing her mother leaving for China alone made Xiao Churan feel sad and reluctant. Tears started to flow as she waved her hand and said, “Mom, please tell us before you get on the plane!”
