- The Amazing Son-in-Law [The Charismatic Charlie Wade] (Chinese name) Chapter: 4795
Charlie Wade sneered at Mei Yuzhen and said, “I’ve seen the information about your two sons. They aren’t very clever, to put it mildly, but that’s okay. They are both strong and big, which makes them perfect for the work we need at Wanlong Temple in Syria. We need people like them who can work hard without overthinking things.”
Mei Yuzhen was terrified and felt like crying. She wanted to plead for her sons, but when Charlie glared at her, she stopped. He spoke coldly, “Mei Yuzhen, I’m considering saving your sons, but if you keep talking nonsense and annoying me, I might change my mind. If that happens, don’t blame me if things go badly for you all.”
Hearing this, Mei Yuzhen was scared into silence. She realized that it was better for her sons to go to Syria than to face a worse fate. So, she slapped herself hard on the face and said nervously, “It’s all my fault, Mr. Ye. Please don’t hold it against me…”
Charlie ignored her and turned to Wan Pojun. He quietly instructed, “Pojun, have your men remove all the bodies of the Crazy Juarez members. Leave no one behind. Anyone still alive will be dealt with later.”
“Yes, sir!” Wan Pojun replied quickly. Then he asked, “Mr. Ye, there are a few Chinese people in the cell next door. What should we do with them?”
Without hesitation, Charlie responded, “Of course you…”
“Don’t worry, just focus on organizing what I explained first. I’ll handle these people myself,” Wan Pojun said firmly.
“Understood!” his subordinates replied.
After that, Wan Pojun left the underground operating room, while Charlie Wade moved towards the iron fence in the corridor.
As he approached, several people held captive behind the iron fence rushed towards him, filled with hope. They included both elderly women in their seventies and eighties and young people in their twenties.
Charlie Wade was surprised to see that even the elderly were among them. At their age, he thought, what could their organs possibly be worth?
One person, a man in his thirties, looked at Charlie Wade with desperate eyes and shouted, “Mr. Ye, please help us!”
Charlie Wade wasn’t shocked to be called Mr. Ye. He had revealed his true identity earlier, and it was clear they had heard his name through the bars.
He looked at the man and asked, “Are you from China too?”
“Yes!” the man replied eagerly, pointing to the others around him. “We’re all from China. We were tricked by them. Now, we’re locked up here waiting for organ matching. The others who matched before us were all killed! Please save us!”
Charlie Wade nodded at the worried faces of his fellow countrymen. “Don’t worry, I will do everything I can to rescue you.”
He paused for a moment before adding, “But there’s something I need to clarify first.”
The group leaned in, anxious to hear what he had to say. “Please, tell us!” they urged.
“Speak!” Charlie Wade said firmly. “What happened here today must stay between us. No one outside can know about it.”
The man quickly replied, “Don’t worry, sir! Once we leave, we won’t say a word! No one will ask us anything!”
