Harold saw this as a chance to forge a friendship with Finn, but he never anticipated that Finn would suddenly deliver a swift kick to him without warning.
He tumbled across the floor a few times before managing to regain his balance. Sitting there in a daze, he exclaimed, “Mr. Baxendale, what’s happening? There must be some sort of misunderstanding…”
The crowd was instantly taken aback by the unexpected uproar.
“Isn’t that guy from the Wilson family? What did he do to provoke Mr. Baxendale?”
“The Wilson family? They’ve become quite irrelevant. Now that they’ve crossed Mr. Baxendale, I think their days in Aurous Hill are numbered!”
Whispers and gasps filled the hall as onlookers speculated.
Most had gathered merely to see how Finn would retaliate against Harold.
Finn glared fiercely at Harold and scoffed, “Misunderstanding? Screw you!”
He lifted his foot again and stomped down hard on Harold, who cried out in excruciating pain.
Still seething with rage, Finn stepped on Harold’s chest and growled, “You idiot, do you have any idea who you’ve offended?”
In agony, Harold whimpered back, “No, Mr. Baxendale, I didn’t offend anyone! It’s just a misunderstanding…”
Finn raised his hand and slapped Harold twice, his voice filled with fury, “You moron, the two men you disrespected are VIP guests of Miss Moore! I could just kill you right now!”
He then turned to his associates and shouted, “Get this scumbag out of here and give him a thorough beating! Furthermore, from now on, aside from those two VIP guests, no one from the Wilson family, especially this Harold, is allowed in Treasure Pavilion. Is that understood? If anyone dares to let them in, I’ll break their legs!”
Without delay, Harold was dragged out of the establishment. The security guards surrounded him and attacked him mercilessly.
They finally tossed him out at the entrance!
Swollen and bleeding, Harold was left in shock, trembling in fear and unable to utter a word.
He realized he had landed himself and the entire Wilson family in serious trouble!
But how could he have known that Charlie was one of Miss Moore’s guests?

After Charlie and Jacob exited the Treasure Pavilion, they quickly headed home.
During the drive, Jacob sighed heavily and muttered, “Charlie, why did you have to do that? It’s one thing not to get an invitation, but why steal someone else’s?”
“Dad, it’s not about the invitation cards; it’s them being so arrogant and condescending…” Charlie tried to clarify, but this only irritated Jacob further. He snapped, “If you were a bit smarter and more capable, they wouldn’t dare to treat us this way. It’s all because you’re a useless wuss!”
Charlie shook his head, not wanting to continue the argument.
At that moment, a Rolls-Royce sped up behind them, overtaking their car before slowing down and pulling over to the side of the road.
Charlie recognized that they were there for him, so he also brought his car to a stop.
Jasmine emerged from the vehicle, her long legs accentuated as she approached. “Mr. Wade, I sincerely apologize for what transpired at the auction earlier. I didn’t clarify things properly with them, and I hope you don’t take it to heart,” she said with genuine regret.
Charlie replied, “It’s not your fault, but I suggest that the Treasure Pavilion take the time to properly train and supervise their staff.”
“Absolutely, Mr. Wade. The Treasure Pavilion has already dismissed the manager involved in this incident. Shall we return to the auction?”
