“Forgive you?” The chubby man grabbed her hair, yanked her face up, and began to punch her repeatedly. Blood began to flow from her face.

“Damn you, b*tch! You want to drag me down with you? Before you take me down, I’ll take you with me!”

Jane’s teeth were knocked out, her recently enhanced nose was broken, and her face was a bloody mess.

Finally managing to break free, she crawled toward Charlie, clutching his leg as she sobbed, “Young Master, I’m so sorry! I won’t judge others like I did before. Please, forgive me!”

Charlie looked at her with cold contempt and replied, “You brought this upon yourself.”

The chubby man was taken aback when he saw her clinging to Charlie’s leg. He rushed over, stomping on her head and yelling, “How dare you touch the young master! I’ll kill you!” With that, Jane fainted.

The man called for the guards, “Get rid of this b*tch and throw her in the garbage dump out back!”

“Yes, boss!” The guards swiftly hoisted the bloodied Jane and carried her out of the store.

Charlie turned to the chubby man and said, “My wife likes this jade necklace. Please wrap it up.”

The chubby man nodded enthusiastically, “Of course! I’ll take care of that immediately!”

Charlie presented his black card and insisted, “Please charge this to my card.” Then he turned to Stephen, “You can take back the cash now.”

“Young Master,” the chubby man interjected quickly, “Since you like the jade necklace, just take it! It’s on the house!”

Charlie replied, “I don’t need it for free.”

“Please, Young Master, accept it as a gesture of my gratitude!” the chubby man pleaded.

Stephen advised Charlie, “Sir, since he wants to make amends with this gift, please accept it. Otherwise, I’m afraid he won’t be able to sleep tonight.”

“No, thank you,” Charlie replied, shaking his head. “Where is your back door? I’ll leave on my own.”
