Charlie responded with a chilling tone, “That red line represents your lifeline. The reason the evil spirit was so easily calmed is that Jack is trading your life for it! In just three days, this red line will reach your elbow, and then you will die instantly. Jack is using all the virtues and good deeds you’ve amassed over your lifetime as a sacrifice to save the rest of the Quinton family!”

Graham stood frozen, utterly stunned by Charlie’s revelation.

Meanwhile, Adam was in a state of panic, glancing nervously at the people surrounding them.

All the masters present nodded in agreement, fully aware that Graham had less than three days to live.

Desperate, Adam dropped to his knees and pleaded with Jack, “Mr. Yaleman! Please, I beg you, save my father’s life!”

Jack regarded Adam with an air of arrogance, sneering as he replied, “I’ve already used my magic to calm the evil spirit. Do you really think I can take that back? I’m sacrificing Graham’s life for the safety of the remaining Quinton family members! You should be thanking me for this!”

Aurora turned pale and bit her lower lip. After a moment of contemplation, she knelt before Charlie and implored, “Please, Mr. Wade, help my father…”

Charlie glanced at her and replied nonchalantly, “The Quinton family chose to trust Mr. Yaleman over me. This is no longer my concern. Why should I assist you now?”

Tears streamed down Aurora’s face as she struggled to hold back her sobs. Gritting her teeth, she promised, “Mr. Wade, if you save my father, I vow to fulfill any request you have…”

Charlie chuckled, responding, “I don’t want anything from you…”

At that moment, Graham rushed over to Charlie, kneeling and crying, “Mr. Wade, I apologize for being so blind. Adam has been brainwashing me…”

Graham then pulled Adam close and slapped him hard across the face.

Adam swiftly dodged, avoiding another slap just in time.

In a fit of desperation, Aurora clutched Charlie’s legs, pleading, “Mr. Wade, please save my dad. I’m begging you…”

Sighing, Charlie finally said, “Alright, you can stand up now. I was only trying to scare you. Fortunately, your father is wearing the talisman I gave him earlier. He’s safe now.”

Graham, still doubtful, held the stun talisman around his neck and asked, “Is this talisman really working?”

Charlie nodded and replied, “Yes. Look at your palm; the red line should be fading thanks to the talisman. Mr. Yaleman will have to work harder to overcome its power.”

Graham examined his arm and noticed the red line had indeed dimmed and was gradually disappearing. Overjoyed, he exclaimed, “Thank you, Mr. Wade! If it weren’t for you today, I would have…”

Charlie waved his hand dismissively. “You’re fortunate to have come here with that talisman. Otherwise, I wouldn’t have been able to help you either.”

Turning to Jack, Charlie said, “The outcome is clear now. Are you going to admit defeat?”

Realizing the gravity of the situation, Adam approached Charlie, kneeling and silently apologizing.

Jack’s face darkened with anger as he glared at Charlie, saying, “You can’t claim victory just because of that talisman! I actually considered sparing your life, but you seem stubborn. I’m giving you one last chance: hand over the clam and kneel to apologize to me now, and I’ll let you go!”

Jack was reluctant to reveal his final card, but with his earlier defeat, he felt he had no choice. Otherwise, the banquet he had planned would be in vain.

However, once he played that card, there was a risk that everyone present could perish if he lost control of his powers!

A swarm of mosquitoes emerged from the altar, quickly descending on the meat on the table and devouring it.

In an astounding turn of events, the meat that had been consumed by the black mosquitoes began to change color, and soon countless smaller black mosquitoes started to emerge from it!
