The crowd gasped in disbelief as soon as Charlie finished speaking.

After witnessing the thunder and lightning display, they were now shocked to learn that Charlie claimed to have no interest in Feng Shui or metaphysics? He wasn’t even a member of the metaphysics circle?

So, had Charlie just summoned the thunder and lightning out of a fleeting curiosity about metaphysics?

In that moment, Finn looked at Charlie, hesitantly speaking with respect, “It is a great honor to share the burden on your behalf, Mr. Wade. From now on, I will ensure that all members of the metaphysics circle are well taken care of. I will manage all minor matters independently, but I will definitely seek your guidance on major issues, Mr. Wade.”

The atmosphere lightened significantly, and then Travis, the wealthiest man in Lancaster, approached Charlie, saying respectfully, “Mr. Wade, I want to express my gratitude for everything you’ve done for us today. As a token of my appreciation, I would like to offer you an eighty million dollar reward.”

Zeke remained kneeling, unwilling to rise. He quickly said, “Mr. Wade, I apologize for underestimating you and for supporting the villain. I nearly caused harm to everyone here today. I hope you can forgive me!”

Charlie frowned and asked, “Mr. White, didn’t you have complete faith in Mr. Yaleman before?”

Zeke lowered his head, replying, “Mr. Wade, I was completely blinded by Mr. Yaleman! I now see him as insignificant compared to the real master! I promise to keep my eyes open from now on and will never oppose you again. I pledge to follow your orders and respect you for the rest of my life.”

Then, Zeke continued, “Mr. Wade, to express my remorse, I would like to gift you a villa. I will send someone to clean it up and give you the key as soon as possible! Please accept my gift and forgive my previous actions, Mr. Wade!”

“A villa?”

Charlie frowned at the thought.

A villa wasn’t particularly significant to him. However, he realized it would be inappropriate to purchase one on his own, as he would struggle to explain the source of the funds to Claire.

So why should he refuse a gift when someone was willing to offer him a villa?
