Wendy sniffled as she spoke to Lady Wilson. “Grandma, I can’t fathom how Charlie managed to con the White family into giving him the largest villa in Thompson First! That place is worth over one hundred million dollars! Not only that, but he didn’t invite you to stay there; he just kicked our whole family out! Isn’t that outrageous?”

Seated on the sofa, Lady Wilson wore a frown, agreeing, “Absolutely! Charlie shows no respect for his elders!”

“Yes, Mom! Charlie is incredibly shameless!” Christopher chimed in, maintaining a composed demeanor. “As a son-in-law in the Wilson family, he should naturally share any advantages with you! The villa you’re living in, along with its furnishings, are outdated. We should have moved into a newer place with better decor long ago. If Charlie truly respected you, he would have offered you the villa at Thompson First so you could enjoy living there.”

Lady Wilson’s eyes sparkled at Christopher’s words. After all, they had lived in their current villa for over a decade. Although the building still appeared stylish, it was an aging property worth at most ten to twenty million dollars, situated in a less-than-desirable location.

In contrast, the villa at Thompson First was a hundred times more impressive. The old lady felt a rush of greed as she realized she could never afford to live in such a luxurious place. Upon learning that Charlie owned the largest villa in Thompson First, she found herself in agreement with Christopher, believing that as the head of the Wilson family, she deserved the privilege of enjoying such a splendid villa!
