In reality, Christopher had meticulously arranged everything with Lady Wilson the previous night.

He had also made it a point to invite all the respected elders of the Wilson family to the family gathering taking place today.

Christopher initially believed that Jacob would willingly surrender the villa if they applied enough pressure on him.

He even had plans to coerce Jacob into relinquishing the villa by threatening him if he hesitated.

Jacob had always been quite timid, often trembling in fear whenever his mother scolded him. Therefore, Christopher felt certain that Jacob would comply with Lady Wilson’s demands if she insisted on getting the villa.

Furthermore, Christopher held no regard for Claire. Being a married woman, he believed she had no right to voice her opinions.

To make matters worse, she was married to someone he considered worthless!

As for Charlie, he barely registered on Christopher’s radar.

Charlie was merely the son-in-law of the Wilson family, lacking any authority or status to speak up against them!

He should simply hand over the villa if asked!

However, Christopher was taken aback when Jacob unexpectedly found the courage to stand up to the old lady, driven to desperation!

Claire, as Lady Wilson’s granddaughter, also chose to disregard her grandmother’s commands.

Even Charlie, that so-called worthless man, audaciously pointed a finger at the old lady and labeled her shameless!

“Your family is truly incorrigible!” Christopher shouted through clenched teeth. He then turned to his mother and exclaimed, “Mom! You cannot allow them to leave like this! If you do, they will surely think they hold more power than the Wilson family in the future! What authority will you have as the head of the Wilson family then?”

Lady Wilson’s expression darkened. She had always been fiercely protective of her control over the family.

After the old man’s passing, she had assumed the role of head of the Wilson family, never permitting anyone to challenge her authority.

Yet, she never anticipated that Jacob and his family would openly defy her today, which filled her with rage! She felt deep resentment towards them!

In her fury, she shouted, “You are all a disgrace to the Wilson family! You are my family, and as long as I am alive, you must obey me!”

She then commanded the bodyguards, “Close the doors! I need to teach the three of you a lesson today!”

Despite her granddaughter and grandson-in-law being present, they showed her no respect whatsoever.

She was baffled as to how Jacob could have raised such a rude and disrespectful child.

If she didn’t make an example of them today, how could she maintain her position as the head of the Wilson family?

Moreover, if she let them leave just like that, she would lose any chance of claiming the villa at Thompson First from them.

Having lived a long life, she had never imagined residing in such an extravagant villa. Now that it was finally in her son’s possession, she was determined to do whatever it took to claim it for herself.

The only way they could escape the Wilson family was by handing over the villa to her!

Suddenly, a group of bodyguards surrounded the three of them.

Charlie stood resolutely in the courtyard, glaring at the bodyguards, and warned, “If any of you take another step closer, don’t blame me for being ruthless.”

“You’re just a worthless piece of trash, and you dare to make empty threats here!?”

One of the bodyguards shouted angrily as he charged at Charlie, wielding a baton.

Charlie let out a cold snort, seized the baton from the assailant’s hand, and struck him on the leg.

The bodyguard collapsed to the ground, unable to get up, and found himself awkwardly kneeling before Charlie. From the angle of his leg, it was clear that it had been broken!

“How dare you!”

At that moment, Charlie tossed the broken baton onto the ground.
