However, when it came to status and prestige, the Moore family could not quite measure up to the Wade family.

Jasmine was unaware of Charlie’s true identity; in her eyes, he was merely a young man with a knack for the antique trade and some insights into metaphysics.

When Charlie summoned the Thunder Order and unleashed thunder and lightning to strike Jack dead at the White family mansion, he certainly terrified many onlookers. As a result, he earned a reputation as a master of metaphysics. Nonetheless, Charlie concealed the truth from Jasmine, explaining it all away as mere coincidence. After all, how could an ordinary person wield the power to call upon thunder and lightning at will?

This left Jasmine perplexed, leading her to believe that Charlie was simply exceptionally lucky.

Since that incident, Jasmine had completely vanished from Charlie’s life.

Charlie initially feared she had gone missing, but he was unprepared for the reality that she was actually in trouble.

Concerned, Charlie inquired of Albert, “What’s going on? Is something wrong with Jasmine?”

Albert quickly responded, “Miss Moore has been experiencing a streak of bad luck lately. It seems her Feng Shui might be off, as she has encountered quite a bit of misfortune…”

Continuing, Albert explained, “She has sought help from numerous Feng Shui masters in Aurous Hill, but none have been able to assist her. I would like to ask if you could visit her and help resolve the issues Miss Moore is facing.”

Charlie answered nonchalantly, “Could you outline some of the specific troubles she’s been having? It will help me gauge the situation.”

Albert eagerly replied, “The young lady has suffered multiple injuries recently. She’s been in several minor car accidents, sprained her ankle while hiking, burned her hand while enjoying a cup of coffee, and was even bitten by her own dog yesterday. Additionally, the Moore family has faced difficulties with some of their business partners, which has significantly affected their family business.”

Albert continued, “What has upset her the most is that she lost a precious diamond necklace she had worn for over ten years—a treasured heirloom her mother gave her before she passed away. Miss Moore was heartbroken and cried for days after losing it.”

Charlie chuckled lightly before saying, “It appears Jasmine is indeed suffering from a string of bad luck due to unfortunate Feng Shui…”

“Exactly!” Albert exclaimed. “Mr. Wade, you are a master of metaphysics. I have faith that you can find a solution to this problem, right?”

At that moment, Charlie asked, “Albert, why are you so invested in Jasmine’s situation? What’s your connection to the Moore family?”

Albert responded earnestly, “Let me be honest, Mr. Wade. Miss Moore’s father was my benefactor. He played a significant role in helping me establish myself in Aurous Hill. I had always hoped to express my gratitude to him, but sadly, he passed away too soon. Since then, I’ve maintained a close relationship with Miss Moore’s grandfather and have assisted them with any matters they couldn’t handle themselves.”

Albert added, “To put it simply, the Moore family is my benefactor, and I am doing everything I can to repay their kindness.”

“Understood,” Charlie nodded in acknowledgment. “It’s clear that you genuinely care about helping them. Since Jasmine and I are friends, I’m willing to assist her. Why don’t you come to pick me up tomorrow, and we can visit her together?”

“Absolutely!” Albert replied with enthusiasm. “Thank you, Mr. Wade. I truly appreciate your generosity.”
