Embarrassed, Albert quickly responded, “Well, repaying kindness is part of it, but getting close to them is a different matter! I know you possess real skills, Mr. Wade. It wouldn’t hurt to befriend Miss Moore. She’s young, attractive, and comes from a powerful family. If you two become allies, it could be beneficial for you down the line!”
With a faint smile, Charlie replied, “If the Feng Shui master hired by the Moore family truly has exceptional skills, there’s not much I can do.”
Albert sighed at Charlie’s words. “Let’s at least go and observe. You are a master of metaphysics with genuine talent. Perhaps we can seize this opportunity to outshine that man from Hong Kong!”
