Albert nodded in agreement, responding, “Mr. Wade, don’t worry! I’m ready to follow any orders you give me!”

At that moment, Master Lennard, who had been lying on the ground clutching his stomach, suddenly began to cry and plead for mercy. “Big brother, please let me go! I promise I won’t do this again. Please forgive me and just let me go.”

Albert sneered and replied, “You’re nothing but a liar! It’s time for you to learn a lesson. My subordinates are on their way to deal with you!”

Charlie asked quietly, “What do you plan to do with him?”

Albert coldly responded, “As I said, I intend to chop him into pieces and feed him to the dogs! I can’t go back on my word. I have a friend who runs a dog shelter with so many dogs that they could easily devour ten scumbags like him!”

When Master Lennard heard Albert’s words, sheer terror gripped him, and he began to tremble. He cried out in desperation, “Big brother, I have a family to take care of! Please let me off this time! I’ll remember your kindness…”

Charlie glanced at him but felt no sympathy whatsoever.

To him, Master Lennard was merely a deceitful liar, one who posed a danger to the world. If he continued his antics in the Feng Shui industry, he could put innocent lives at risk!

In all honesty, he was a liar who deserved to face consequences.

Moreover, Master Lennard had completed the ‘dragon encapsulation formation’ that day solely to swindle Jasmine out of her money. If Charlie hadn’t intervened, Jasmine’s life would have undoubtedly been in jeopardy.

Additionally, the Moore family ran a significant business, and if such a large enterprise were to collapse, Charlie could only imagine how many lives would be affected! Jasmine wouldn’t be the only one suffering because of Master Lennard’s actions!

Thus, Charlie felt there was no justification for a scoundrel like him to remain in this world.

Before long, Albert’s subordinates arrived and dragged Master Lennard away.

Master Lennard continued to wail and lament his fate, claiming he was miserable and regretting his actions, but no one felt any pity for him.

Charlie simply observed him, shaking his head. He had warned Lennard that a bloody disaster awaited him today. Unfortunately, Lennard had chosen not to believe him, and now he was left to face the repercussions of his deeds.

Once all the issues were resolved, Albert quickly expressed his gratitude to Charlie for everything he had done before driving him home.

Upon returning home, Charlie noticed that Claire was still searching for a job.

He didn’t say much because, while he genuinely wanted to help Claire start a new company, she didn’t seem interested in that idea at all. Therefore, he chose to remain quiet.

Moreover, he didn’t want Claire to overexert herself. If he were to establish a company for her, she would inevitably have to tackle a significant workload during the early stages. Knowing Claire’s character and determination, Charlie understood that she would push herself too hard, ultimately leading to her suffering.

Later that evening, Charlie received a phone call from his good friend, Douglas.

Since helping Douglas teach the adulterous couple a lesson at the hospital, Charlie hadn’t seen him. The main reason was the overwhelming number of family matters he had been dealing with lately, leaving him little time to visit.

Douglas informed Charlie that he had recovered and was finally being discharged from the hospital today.

Since Charlie had assisted him in reclaiming his restaurant and securing several million dollars in compensation, Douglas’s first plan after leaving the hospital was to treat some close friends to dinner.

Charlie immediately agreed, feeling happy that his friend was finally getting out of the hospital.

Just then, Claire emerged from the bathroom after her shower and casually asked Charlie, “Who’s calling you so late at night?”

Charlie replied, “It’s Douglas; he’s just been discharged from the hospital and wants to take us out for dinner. Let’s go together tomorrow.”
