Stephen’s polite voice echoed from the other end. “Young Master, Millennium Enterprise’s main clients are primarily small businesses associated with the Wade family. This year, they’ve also handled some real estate projects for the Emgrand Group.”

“Is that so?” Charlie scoffed. It turned out that Peter Murray was just a nobody, scraping by on the scraps left by him.

Charlie couldn’t help but chuckle at the thought.

He imagined how Peter would feel knowing that he was essentially the one supporting his business. How would Peter react after having insulted him?

With this thought in mind, Charlie said to Stephen, “I want to teach Millennium Enterprise a lesson.”

“How can I assist you, Young Master?”

“Hmm. Terminate all collaborations with them. I’m done with it.”

“Oh, has the company upset you in some way? Would you like me to handle their boss directly? I can make him disappear instantly!”

Charlie laughed lightly. “No, no. We live in a civilized society. There are far more effective ways than resorting to violence. If you eliminate him, how would he ever feel the consequences? I want him to face bankruptcy and lead a miserable life from now on.”

After ending the call, Charlie glanced back at the restaurant. Claire was still apologizing to Peter, who lounged in his chair like an arrogant dog, muttering something under his breath. He was likely cursing Charlie at that very moment.

He shot a glare at Charlie, addressing Claire, “I’ll let your loser husband off this time for your sake. I’d like to invite you to dinner tomorrow night so we can discuss the collaboration further.”

His indifferent demeanor was a façade to impress Claire, but inside, he was seething with anger.

If it weren’t for Claire’s apologies on Charlie’s behalf, he would have summoned someone to teach Charlie a lesson!

However, he planned to make Charlie pay dearly. Once he had Claire to himself, he would ensure that Charlie faced destruction!

Charlie approached Claire and said, “Darling, let’s head home. There’s no point in discussing anything with this loser who is on the brink of bankruptcy.”
