The Amazing son in law Chapter 2400
Deana offered a slight smile and said, “It doesn’t matter if you take the ten o’clock flight. You can always return in the afternoon. What truly matters is showing others your attitude.”
She then inquired once more, “Do you understand what’s at stake? You’ve articulated it clearly. You’re a clever boy.”
Fitz pressed his lips together and nodded with resignation, replying, “Alright, Mom. Let’s just pack up and head to the airport with Grandpa White.”
Twenty minutes later, two black cars pulled away from the Thorne family’s old residence. One vehicle headed towards Treasure Pavilion in the city, while the other made its way to Aurous Hill International Airport, located outside the city.

Inside the first car, Deana and her daughter Zara sat side by side. Their resemblance was striking; both women were undeniably beautiful. Deana, once celebrated as the first beauty of Eastcliff, had been the object of admiration from numerous high-ranking officials and socialites. Despite her stunning looks, she couldn’t quite match the allure of Charlie’s mother.
Zara, being younger, lacked the maturity of Deana but possessed a more spirited look in her eyes. As they drove towards the auction, Deana gazed out the window, lost in thought. Her mind drifted to Bruce and his former home, and she found herself recalling the young man she had encountered there recently.
“He must be Bruce’s son,” she mused silently. “It’s impossible for him not to resemble Bruce. Yet, I haven’t come across any information about him in the last couple of days. I wonder if he’ll attend the auction today?”
Meanwhile, inside the Treasure Pavilion, Charlie, donning a disposable mask, entered the auction venue accompanied by Charles, who was quite enthusiastic about the event. Despite the auction starting in just half an hour, Charles insisted on keeping everyone else waiting outside the Treasure Pavilion. He explained that he was concerned about Charlie’s identity being discovered.
Therefore, he planned to allow others in only after Charlie was settled in his box.
As there were numerous boxes available at Treasure Pavilion, Charlie asked, “Charles, is anyone else booked for a box today?”
“Yes,” Charles responded promptly. “A king expressed interest in reserving a box, but I declined, fearing that others in adjacent boxes might disrupt your concentration. I told them that this auction isn’t of high importance, so the boxes are unavailable for booking. Aside from you, everyone else is seated in the lobby.”
Charlie nodded appreciatively and said, “Thank you for your efforts. I believe it’s nearly time. Please let the other bidders in.”
“Of course, Master Wade!” Charles exclaimed, bowing to Charlie before quickly exiting the box.
Before long, the participants of the judicial auction began to filter into the venue. Seated in a one-way glass box, Charlie felt at ease knowing that no one could see him.
He scrutinized each newcomer and noticed that most were dressed quite ordinarily, indicating that the auction’s items were likely aimed at the average working class.
Suddenly, he spotted two familiar women entering side by side. They appeared to be around the same age; the older one exuded charm and the younger one was equally stunning. If one didn’t know better, they might assume these two were sisters.
However, Charlie recognized them instantly. The younger woman was Zara, the one he had inadvertently rescued in Japan, while the older woman was Deana, the one he had seen at his parents’ former home.
As Charlie took in the sight of the two beautiful figures, he couldn’t help but exclaim softly, “I can’t believe Deana is actually here for the auction.”
