With a swift punch aimed at the air, the man in white unleashed a powerful wave that forced the rain around him to scatter backward as if repelled by an unseen force.

As raindrops made contact with his fist, they instantly vaporized into steam.

Zachary, frozen in horror, wished he could shrink away and hide beneath the car.

The burly man on the ground shouted in alarm.

The sturdy man’s chest slammed into the ground, causing him to gulp down muddy water. Moments later, he coughed up blood, his body trembling violently for a brief period before falling completely still.

“Brother!” The man in white felt as though he could collapse at any moment. His eyes bulged with fury as he summoned all his strength for one final strike.

With his right hand contorted into the shape of an eagle’s claw, he soared through the air, leaving behind a flurry of shadowy handprints.
