With a playful smile, Wendy asked, “Charlie, didn’t you make a reservation here too? Which suite did you pick? Let’s go check it out!”

Charlie replied flatly, “To be honest, I didn’t really think about which suite to reserve. I just sent a text to their boss and asked him to arrange it for me. Let me check the message now; give me a moment.”

Harold scoffed with disdain, “Keep quiet! Do you have any idea who the boss is here? It’s the renowned Don Albert Rhodes! How can you talk like that? Be careful, or he might crush you with just a flick of his finger.”

Charlie brushed off their cruel remarks and looked at his phone. “He said he reserved the Diamond Suite for me.”

Harold burst out laughing. “Hahaha… The Diamond Suite? Come on, Charlie, don’t make me laugh! Do you even know who is allowed in the Diamond Suite? Only a handful of people in Aurous Hill can access it! You’re nothing but a joke!”

Amid the chaos, Loreen remained silent, her thoughts swirling. She hadn’t expected Charlie to be such a sore loser. Who did he think he was, being offered the chance to dine in the Diamond Suite? She had always viewed him as someone without money or influence, a bit hopeless even, but now she realized he was just vain. Her disappointment in him was palpable.

Charlie simply smiled at their childish taunts. In his eyes, they were nothing more than pretentious fools, and he didn’t feel the need to stoop to their level.

Gerald chimed in, “Charlie, even my dad isn’t worthy of dining in the Diamond Suite. You’re just full of nonsense!”

Wendy added, “Right, a loser like him isn’t even worthy of eating the leftovers from the Diamond Suite, let alone dining there!”

Charlie shot Gerald a cold sneer. ‘You foolish dog, Don Albert just dealt with your cousin yesterday; what gives you the nerve to dine in his restaurant today?’ With that thought in mind, he asked, “Gerald, I heard something happened to your cousin yesterday, is that true?”

Gerald frowned, curious. “How do you know about that?” Without waiting for an answer, he continued, “He was attacked yesterday and is still in a coma. We’re looking into who did it and will make them pay! Do you have any information?”

Charlie shook his head, feigning ignorance. “I have no idea what happened; I just heard some rumors.”

“Huh!” Gerald huffed in frustration, “Don’t you dare mock the White family behind our backs! If I hear you do it again, you’ll regret it!”

Charlie completely ignored him. It was evident that this foolish family had no clue that Albert was responsible for his cousin’s injuries. This was getting interesting.

At that moment, a man in a black suit approached them and stood in front of Charlie. Recognizing the familiar face, Charlie realized he was one of Albert’s bodyguards. The man recognized Charlie right away, greeting him with an eager smile and nearly bowing, but Charlie quickly shook his head. The bodyguard paused for a moment, then said, “Hi, your suite is ready; please follow me.”

Harold was taken aback. He hadn’t even mentioned his arrival to the ringmaster yet, and here someone was coming to greet him personally! When did diners in the Golden Suite at Heaven Springs start receiving such attentive service? Gerald stared in disbelief. “Harold, you’re amazing! That guy seems to work directly for Don Albert. It looks like the Don really appreciates you. Do you know him personally? I’ve never heard you mention it, you humble guy!”

Harold laughed with delight and replied smugly, “No need to flaunt my connections; it’s better to keep a low profile! Hahahaha!”
