The Amazing son in law Chapter 49
With a sarcastic grin plastered across his face, Charlie inquired, “What’s your commission on this car?”
The salesperson sneered back, “Ten thousand dollars!”
Charlie nodded slightly, acknowledging the figure. “Alright then, you’ve just forfeited ten thousand dollars.” With that, he turned on his heel and exited. Just outside, he ran into the shop manager, a man named Arthur Walsh, whose name tag was prominently displayed on his suit. Charlie approached him directly, asking, “Are you the one in charge here?”
“That’s me,” Arthur confirmed with a nod. “How can I assist you?”
Pointing to the rude sales executive, Charlie advised, “You need to fire that individual immediately. He’s a rotten apple and will harm your business.”

The sales executive quickly rushed forward, exclaiming, “Mr. Walsh, don’t pay attention to his nonsense! He’s just a crazy person looking to use our WiFi and air conditioning!”
Charlie smiled slyly. “A crazy person, you say? Just wait and see.” He promptly stepped outside and walked into the adjacent BMW showroom. Upon entering, he was drawn to the centerpiece of the vast hall: the BMW 760, the epitome of luxury within the 7 series lineup. This stunning model boasted a powerful 12-cylinder engine and an incredibly opulent interior. Truth be told, he felt somewhat irrational too. How dare those Audi salespeople look down on him? Fine, he would show them by purchasing the top-spec BMW! He had the money, after all! He gestured to a sales executive and asked, “Is this 760 in stock?”
The young lady appeared taken aback. “Sir, this car just arrived today. Are you sure you want to buy it?”
“Absolutely,” Charlie affirmed with a nod. “Let’s finalize the deal right now!”
“Wait, it costs 2.6 million!” The lady was even more astonished. Although she had been working at the showroom for quite some time, she had never encountered a customer willing to buy a car on the spot like this! Surely, he must be joking, right?
With a smile, Charlie replied, “I’m aware of the price. Just let me know if you want to sell it!”
“Um… yes, of course…” the lady stammered, a gleeful smile slowly spreading across her face. “Please follow me!”
In no time at all, his card was swiped, the payment processed, and the car key handed over. Everything went remarkably smoothly. As the BMW 760 rolled out of the showroom, everyone in the Audi showroom watched in disbelief. Charlie drove the BMW to the Audi showroom entrance, popped open the trunk, folded up his scooter, and stowed it away before casually driving off. The sales executive who had mocked Charlie stared in shock. Arthur shot him a cold glare and ordered, “Head to HR immediately; you’re fired!”
“Manager…” “Get lost!” The other Audi sales executives were left speechless. Who could have predicted that the man who arrived on a scooter would so boldly purchase a 2.6 million-dollar car without a second thought? The fired sales executive cursed himself in regret. Not only had he lost a wealthy customer and a lucrative commission, but he had also lost his job! If only he could go back and change his actions, he would never look down on anyone again.

Meanwhile, as Charlie drove the BMW 760, he couldn’t help but slap his forehead in frustration over his impulsive decision. It wasn’t the money that bothered him, but the car’s hefty price tag. It far exceeded his original budget. How would he explain this to Claire? Could he really say that 2.6 million dollars just fell into his lap? That would sound utterly ridiculous, wouldn’t it?
