The Amazing son in law Chapter 67
Julie was oblivious to the sudden shift in Claire’s expression. With a smug smile, she pulled the man beside her closer and announced, “Let me introduce you to my husband, Kyle!”
She continued with a flourish, “He is the young master of the Sullivan family and the heir to their immense fortune, worth hundreds of millions!”
Claire offered a polite nod in response.
Meanwhile, Charlie shot an irritated glare at the couple. This was supposed to be a romantic occasion for him and his wife to celebrate their wedding anniversary, but now they had to deal with such an insufferable pair!
Unfazed, Julie maintained her smug tone, adding, “Oh, and just so you know, my husband is a platinum member here, which means he enjoys numerous benefits and privileges. I suppose the best Charlie could manage is a standard suite, right? How about I have Kyle upgrade you to a luxury suite?”

Claire was about to turn down the offer when Charlie chuckled and replied, “Actually, I booked a pretty nice place, so we’ll pass, but thanks.”
He had reserved the entire Sky Garden to create a grand experience for his beloved wife; why should he feel impressed by someone boasting about being a mere platinum member?
Moreover, his family owned the entire Shangri-La hotel chain. It would be beneath him to accept a luxury suite meant for platinum members.
Julie’s expression darkened, and she sneered, “Claire, just look at how rude and ungrateful your husband is. How do you usually lecture him?”
With that, she wrapped her arms around Kyle, resting her head on his shoulder, and added with a teasing smile, “With that attitude, Charlie doesn’t belong at such an elegant and lavish event. Perhaps you should let my husband teach him about aristocratic etiquette and how to conduct himself. After all, Kyle has studied in the UK.”
Kyle shot a disdainful glance at Charlie and smirked, “Dear, please don’t assign me such a difficult task. Mr… Mr. Wade here is so unique and free-spirited; it’s quite a challenge.”
Julie nodded in agreement before turning to Claire and sighing, “Honestly, I think you should consider divorcing him. It’s a shame you’ll spend your life with a loser like Charlie!”
Her comment was blunt and lacked any regard for Claire’s feelings.
Claire’s lips pressed together in indignation as she retorted, “What gives you the right to say that about my husband?”
Suppressing a giggle, Julie replied, “I’ve disliked you since our college days. If it weren’t for your family’s wealth, do you really think you’d have been the belle of the college? Can’t I point that out now that you’re married to such a loser?”
Charlie felt a wave of disappointment wash over him.
Julie Downs had always been a promiscuous and crude girl in college, chasing after rich men of all ages, leveraging her youth and beauty. Now that she had married a wealthy man, did she really consider herself a high-class socialite? How dare she insult his wife?
She was only digging her own grave!
A surge of anger bubbled within him.
He pulled out his phone and sent a text to Isaac, the general manager of Shangri-La. “I need all the information on Julie Downs, daughter-in-law of the Sullivan family in Aurous Hill! I want it in three minutes!”
Noticing Charlie focused on his phone, Julie smirked and said, “Just look at your deadbeat husband. Here I am mocking you, and he doesn’t even dare to stand up for you. He’s truly a joke, hahaha!”
At that moment, Charlie received a reply from Isaac. “Young Master, I’ve sent you the information on Julie Downs.”
Charlie read through the details of the lengthy message, then looked up at Julie and Kyle with an amused smile. “I have some intriguing information here. Would you like to hear it?”
Julie frowned and asked, “What kind of information?”
Charlie announced loudly, “Julie Downs, 26 years old, graduated from Aurous University.”
