As she spoke, a faint blush crept onto her face. In a softer, more hesitant voice, she admitted, “I want… I want Brother Charlie Wade to agree to this because he loves me. I hope he chooses to have a child with me out of love, not just because of pressure or family expectations.”

Angie sighed, concern evident in her expression. “Stefanie, Charlie is so much like his father—not just in looks but in temperament too. I worry he might handle relationships the same way his father did. To be honest, I’m afraid he’ll keep pushing you away.”

Stefanie gave a small, bittersweet smile. “If Brother Charlie Wade still refuses me in the end, then I have no choice but to accept it. All I can do is pray for him, hoping that he stays safe and lives a happy life.”
