Chapter 4713
“Mr. Chen, what’s wrong? Are you worried that Sun Moon City will come after you?”
Noticing Kai’s expression, Xiao Yuanshan lowered his voice and asked.
“Oh, it’s nothing,” Kai snapped back to reality. “I’m not afraid of Sun Moon City. In fact, I’m planning to go there myself.”
“Mr. Chen, Sun Moon City isn’t a place you can just walk into,” Xuan Bin warned. “And after injuring their eldest prince, if you go there now, you’ll definitely face retaliation.”
“It’s fine,” Kai replied with a faint smile. “It might just be a misunderstanding. I’ll handle it, and that’ll be the end of it.”
Even though he had injured Lin Kedong, it wasn’t a fatal wound. They wouldn’t execute him the moment he arrived.
At worst, he’d be given a lecture or scolded by Lin Keting.
Seeing that Kai wasn’t concerned, Xuan Bin dropped the subject. Instead, he asked, “Mr. Chen, is it true that the entire Xiao Dynasty has been blessed by someone?”
Kai nodded. “Yes.”
“Who did it?” Xuan Bin pressed further.
“Just an elder from my family. Why do you ask?” Kai frowned, puzzled by Xuan Bin’s curiosity.
Xuan Bin observed Kai’s casual demeanor and sighed with a wry smile. “No wonder you’re not afraid of Sun Moon City. With such an elder backing you, you have nothing to fear in the entire Tianren Realm!”
“It’s just a minor blessing—only a few thousand years of luck added to the Xiao Dynasty. Nothing extraordinary,” Kai said calmly. “If Mr. Shi were truly displeased, he could erase this entire star field in an instant.”
Xuan Bin fell silent. He couldn’t even fathom the power of the force behind Kai.
Erase a star field?
The Tianren Realm was just a single world, and there were countless worlds within the star field.
To destroy an entire star field in a minute?
In front of such power, the cultivators of the Heavenly Realm were no better than ants.
“Don’t worry,” Kai said, noticing Xuan Bin’s fear. “I won’t provoke anyone unless they provoke me first. As long as you don’t offend me, I won’t kill you for no reason.”
In truth, Kai was just bluffing. He had no idea if Mr. Shi could truly destroy an entire star field in mere minutes.
He didn’t even know the full extent of Mr. Shi’s strength—but he had always seen him as an elder, someone capable of anything.
“Kid, you’re not the only one who can brag. Don’t feel pressured—I can destroy a star field too,” the Red Cloud Demon Lord chimed in.
“Star fields in lower-level universes are nothing. Wiping them out isn’t difficult at all!”
Kai looked at him skeptically. “Are you serious, or are you just boasting?”
“What’s there to boast about?” the Red Cloud Demon Lord scoffed. “Many of the worlds in low-level star fields are even weaker than this Heavenly Realm. I’ve destroyed a star field with a single punch before.”
“It’s a fact—you can check the records. I don’t brag.”
His eyes gleamed with pride as he recalled his past glory.
“A true hero doesn’t dwell on past achievements. Shut up,” Kai retorted before turning back to Xuan Bin.
“You didn’t come to the Xiao Dynasty just to find me, did you? Are you here because of the Ten Palaces’ kill order?”
Xuan Bin nodded. “Yes. The bounty of 100,000 immortal spirit stones is tempting, but we knew from the start we wouldn’t actually get it.”
“Even if we managed to kill you, the Ten Palaces wouldn’t hand over the reward so easily.”
“And even if they did, we three brothers wouldn’t be able to keep it. That 100,000 immortal spirit stones would turn into our death warrant.”
“Then why are you still here?” Kai asked, puzzled.
