“Kid, I’m going to turn you into a puddle of blood!” Bill’s triumphant laughter echoed throughout the venue after the Crimson Skullhead devoured Dustin. The chilling sound hung in the air.

“Alicia, will Dr. Rhys be okay?” Aurora asked, her face filled with worry.

The powers of vampires were mysterious and terrifying, especially their scarlet mist, which could eat away at human flesh. It was more dangerous than any divine weapon, and without strong training, it was nearly impossible to defend against.

“Calm down. Let’s see how this plays out. I don’t think he’ll go down that easily,” Alicia said, frowning as her expression turned serious. Despite her words, her tightly clenched fists showed her anxiety.

Grace watched the worried Marshall sisters with a smile, choosing not to comment. She believed that with Dustin’s strength, even someone like Bill or a low-ranked vampire wouldn’t be able to defeat him.

Nearby, Dalen looked at the anxious Wesley sisters beside him with a slight smile. He fanned himself lightly, appearing calm.

“You two shouldn’t worry so much. With Dustin’s abilities, handling those vampires shouldn’t be a problem,” he said.

“How can you be so sure?” Ruby asked, her brow furrowed. “These vampires aren’t ordinary opponents, and their tactics are strange and hard to defend against. One wrong move, and Dustin could be in trouble.” She felt Dalen’s confidence was misplaced, especially since two out of the three foreign contestants had already won.

She couldn’t shake her feeling of unease.

“Just be patient and watch. I’m sure he won’t let us down,” Dalen replied.

Dalen smiled but decided to keep his thoughts to himself. His instincts had always been reliable, and he sensed that Dustin was more dangerous than he seemed.

“Something’s off! Look at that Crimson Skullhead!” Crystal suddenly said, her face tensing as she pointed to the battle ring.

Dalen and Ruby turned to see what she meant and quickly noticed something strange. The scarlet mist around the Crimson Skullhead was swirling chaotically. It expanded and shrank erratically, almost as if a giant hand was stirring it. This made the skull twist into a grotesque shape.

In just a few moments, the Crimson Skullhead and the mist began to shrink like a deflating balloon.

Bill’s voice trembled with panic. “How is this happening? You’re absorbing my blood energy? What are you?” Suddenly, the scarlet mist surged violently, and Bill was thrown backward as if he had been hit by a shockwave. He stumbled back ten yards, his eyes wide in disbelief as he watched the Crimson Skullhead shrink in front of him.

Bill’s face turned pale, confusion and fear written all over it. He had planned to use his vampire powers to turn Dustin into blood and finish the match quickly. However, he soon realized something was very wrong.

Dustin was not afraid of his blood energy. Instead, he was drawing in all the blood energy around him with a strong suction.

If Bill hadn’t reacted quickly, he might have been completely drained. At that moment, he wondered who the real vampire was in this battle.

The Crimson Skullhead continued to shrink rapidly, and the mist disappeared.

In just a few breaths, what once dominated the battle ring had shrunk to the size of a fist.

Dustin stood calmly, holding the Crimson Skullhead in his right hand. His expression was unfazed as he said, “Is this the…”

“Is that the best your vampire race can do? I’m a bit disappointed,” Dustin said, shaking his head. Then, he clenched his fist and crushed the skull in his hand.

Bill’s eyes widened in shock, and he staggered back, his face growing even paler. The blood energy that had come from his body was destroyed, and this loss hit him hard.

“Don’t get too cocky! I don’t know how you managed to escape, but if you underestimate our noble vampire race, you will pay dearly for your foolish arrogance!” Bill’s face darkened with anger.

“Is that so? We’ll see if you can back up your words,” Dustin replied challengingly, extending his hand in a beckoning gesture.

He rarely encountered vampires and knew little about their abilities, so he saw this as a chance to learn more.

“If blood energy doesn’t work, then I’ll tear you apart!” Bill roared. As he spoke, his body began to change. His hair grew rapidly and turned white.

His once-slim physique transformed into a massive, muscular form. His limbs thickened, and his handsome features twisted into a frightening visage. His eyes turned blood-red, and sharp fangs appeared in his mouth.

Bone spikes sprouted from his body, making him look even more terrifying. Where Bill had once been a striking nobleman, he was now a monstrous, bloodthirsty beast.
