An Understated Dominance - Chapter 2329
Chapter 2329
The crowd stood in shock as they watched Bill lying on the ground, blood streaming from his mouth. They were speechless, their eyes wide with disbelief.
Everything had happened so fast—from Bill charging aggressively to the crushing blow that had struck his heart, leaving him gravely injured. It was a confusing scene that left everyone stunned.
The match had ended before anyone could fully grasp what had happened. The outcome was so surprising that the entire arena fell silent.
“Is this real? Did Dr. Rhys actually win?” Aurora exclaimed, her eyes darting to the battle ring in disbelief.
Just moments ago, she had feared that Bill would kill Dustin. Now, the situation had completely flipped.
Dustin remained calm while Bill struggled, coughing up blood. The sudden change felt almost unreal. “One move… and he took him down?” Alicia said, equally shocked. She knew Dustin was strong, but she never expected him to be this powerful.
After his transformation, Bill had reached a terrifying level of strength. An ordinary grandmaster martial artist would have no chance against him.
Alicia had anticipated a brutal, drawn-out fight, but it ended suddenly and unexpectedly.
“This is incredible grandmaster internal energy. What kind of technique has he been using?” Even Fenley, with his experience, was taken aback.
When he saw Bill transform, he had genuinely worried for Dustin. He understood how powerful vampires could become when they awakened their full potential. They could fight far beyond normal limits. But to see a fully transformed vampire defeated so decisively was shocking.
Dustin was in disbelief. Even Fenley would have found it hard to achieve such a feat without using the Four Elements of God’s Technique.
He thought Dustin’s strength was likely on par with his own. He was surprised to learn that Alicia had such a strong master on her team. Still, he was glad that Dustin was the consultant for the Celestial Alliance, as his skills were a huge benefit to their guild.
“Are you finally showing your strength?” Grace smiled. She wasn’t surprised by the result; as the top-ranked player on the Legendary List, she would have been worried if Dustin struggled against a mere vampire.
“See? I told you Dustin is strong. A vampire doesn’t stand a chance against him,” Dalen said. His initial shock faded into a knowing grin.
Dalen had always believed that Dustin was a master in disguise. Still, watching him defeat Bill with a single move earlier was a shock even for him.
Meanwhile, Crystal and Ruby were speechless. Dustin’s strength had once again exceeded their expectations. They thought he might even have a chance to break into the top three of the tournament.
“Who is he? He’s so powerful!” Alloy exclaimed, raising an eyebrow in surprise. He had researched the top contestants but didn’t recall hearing about Dustin.
Dustin’s earlier performance was nothing short of amazing. To someone without training, it might have looked like just another match. But to an experienced master, it revealed much more.
As a guildmaster, Alloy had a sharp eye for talent that others might overlook. He could see that Dustin wasn’t just impressive—he was exceptional.
“Yes, he’s impressive. A real gem,” Cyrus said, narrowing his eyes in thought. While most geniuses didn’t catch his attention, Dustin’s display of talent had certainly intrigued him.
Cyrus saw potential in Dustin and believed that with proper training, Dustin could achieve great things, possibly even as much as Glenn.
Penelope, who had been quiet until now, let out a dry, raspy laugh that felt unsettling.
“Madam Penelope, are you thinking of taking on a student before the other A matches begin? Isn’t that a bit early?” Cyrus asked casually, glancing at her. “I find this young man quite interesting.”
“Are you going to compete with me for him, Mr. Hadley?” she replied with a smile.
“Everyone values talent. If the Mystic Arts Order wants him, then so do we,” Glenn said directly.
“If both of you are interested, I’ll join the search as well,” Alloy added. “Since this young man has ties to my guild, it’s only fair he joins us.” Glenn responded with a cold smile, “Words alone won’t settle this. The outcome will depend on who can prove their worth.”
“Fine by me,” Alloy said with a shrug.
“It’s been a while since I’ve faced a real challenge. I’m in,” Penelope said, laughing dryly.
The three shared knowing glances, a silent agreement passing between them. They then signaled their teams to start looking into Dustin’s background. Soon, the three major guilds were buzzing with activity.
