An Understated Dominance - Chapter 2346
George had already angered the crowd with his cruel treatment of Jermaine. As he entered the battle ring again, the spectators booed and shouted at him.
“Ugh! Just seeing this guy makes me sick. I want to kill him!” one person yelled.
“Disgusting heartless scum!” another shouted.
“He got away with it last time, but now he’s up against the Grand Sorceress of the Mystic Arts Order. Let’s see how he dies!” someone else added.
The crowd was furious, hurling insults at George, but he didn’t care. His eyes were fixed on Abigail, and a wicked grin spread across his face. He leered at her, saying, “Tsk, tsk… Hey, gorgeous. Fighting is a man’s job. As a woman, your role is to bear children.”
He continued to gawk at her, grinning wider. “Unfortunately, Dragonmarsh martial artists are weaklings. They can’t satisfy someone like you. But with me, I promise you’ll experience pure pleasure,” he laughed.
His words ignited a firestorm of anger among the spectators.
“Fucking bastard! I swear I’ll kill you!” one man shouted.
“That cocky jerk has gone too far. Enough is enough!” another yelled.
“I’ve had it! I’m going to rip him to shreds today!” someone else declared.
The air was filled with angry shouts. Publicly harassing a woman was already despicable, but insulting all Dragonmarsh martial artists made it even worse. George’s behavior had stirred up public outrage.
While shouting insults was the mildest reaction, some hot-headed martial artists couldn’t hold back and were ready to fight. Their aggressive stances showed they wanted to take George down for good.
As they charged forward, the Sacred Wyrm Summit disciples stepped in to keep the peace. Even though they were angry themselves, they remained composed. No matter what, the tournament had to continue.
The martial artists knew they had to fight in the battle ring if they wanted to settle their differences.
“What a bunch of losers!” George said, glancing at the angry Dragonmarsh martial artists below the ring. He smiled mockingly and gave them a thumbs-down, clearly enjoying their frustration.
His taunt pushed the Dragonmarsh martial artists to their limit. They couldn’t stand being insulted by a foreigner like George.
“I’ll take you down!” one shouted.
“Damn it! I’ll cut you in half!” another yelled.
“Bastard, prepare to die!” a third joined in.
A group of martial artists broke through the Sacred Wyrm Summit disciples and rushed toward the battle ring.
George grinned, ready to take advantage of the situation and fight them.
Suddenly, a tall figure landed from the sky, blocking their way. It was Oron. He raised his left hand and sent a powerful gust of wind that blew the martial artists back several yards.
Oron waved his hand again, creating a blue barrier around the battle ring. Anyone who touched it would feel a painful electric shock, causing their bodies to convulse and go numb.
“Settle your scores off the ring. Life or death doesn’t concern me, but no one interferes with the match,” Oron warned the martial artists.
Then, he shot a cold look at George. “If you keep provoking them, you’ll face the consequences.”
George sneered but stayed quiet. He usually thought of Dragonmarsh martial artists as unimportant, but he knew better than to mess with Oron.
“Without further delay, the third match officially begins,” Oron announced quickly to prevent things from getting out of control.
“Hey, what do you think of my proposal earlier, gorgeous? Want to feel my strength up close?” George teased Abigail.
“Don’t worry. We can talk about our future after I cut out your tongue, gouge out your eyes, and castrate you,” Abigail replied, her gaze cold and indifferent.
“Oh? Let’s see if you can actually do that,” he said, smiling confidently.
George knew that defeating someone like Abigail, who seemed so frail, would be easy. But he wasn’t in a hurry to win. He wanted to embarrass her in front of all the martial artists from Dragonmarsh.
“Venom Serpent! Go!” Abigail shouted, quickly raising her hand and flicking it. A dark shadow shot out from her sleeve, darting straight toward George’s throat.
“Your attack is too weak, gorgeous,” George said with a smirk. Instead of dodging, he reached out and grabbed the shadow.
As he looked closer, he realized it was a snake-like creature. But when it lifted its head, he was surprised. It had a snake’s body but a human face, and it looked very eerie.
“What the hell is this?” George felt a chill run down his spine. He tried to shake the strange creature off his hand, but before he could, it opened its mouth and bit into the web of his palm.
