George winced in pain and threw the snake-like creature away. But it wouldn’t give up. As soon as it hit the ground, it lunged at him again.

“Do you have a death wish?” he scoffed, then smashed the creature into a red mist with a single punch.

He turned to Abigail with a grin. “It’s just a little snake. You don’t really think it could hurt me, do you?”

“Can’t hurt you? Look at the bite marks,” she replied, rolling her eyes.

George looked down and saw two tiny, needle-like punctures on his skin where the creature had bitten him. The wounds were so small that they didn’t even bleed.

But around the bites, his skin had turned a deep, unnatural black, darker than his normal color, like ink. The most troubling part was how quickly the blackness was spreading, creeping into his bloodstream. Within seconds, it covered most of his hand.

“What is this?” George’s frown deepened as his grin faded.

He had always thought he was invulnerable, so he hadn’t worried about the attack. But now, the little snake had managed to break through his defenses with its venom.

The unknown toxin was causing an unsettling throbbing in his chest. He felt a sinking dread that if the poison kept spreading, he might be in serious trouble. Just because he was immune to weapons didn’t mean he was safe from all poisons.

In a panic, George transformed his left hand into a sharp, black blade. He let out a roar and swung the weapon down hard against his right wrist.

The blade sliced through skin and muscle, cutting deep into the bone. Blood sprayed everywhere, staining the ground red. But his defenses were so strong that even as he injured himself, his wrist didn’t break.

“Argh!” he shouted as he raised his blade again. With a powerful swing, he severed his wrist completely.

The crowd gasped in shock. They never expected George to be so brutal, cutting off his own hand without hesitation.

As his wrist fell to the ground, it began to decay quickly. In just moments, it turned into a puddle of blood.

“Smart move. If the poison had spread, you’d have lost more than just your hand,” Abigail said, raising an eyebrow in surprise.

The Venom Serpent was a highly poisonous creature created by the Mystic Arts Order. It looked small and harmless, but it was deadly. Anyone bitten would dissolve into a puddle of blood in three minutes unless they got an antidote quickly.

Abigail was amazed that George had the strength to cut off his own hand, which saved her from more trouble.

“You think you can kill me? Not a chance!” George snarled, his face twisted in anger. As he spoke, his severed hand began to twist and reshape.

The bleeding stopped almost instantly. A sharp, black blade quickly emerged from the spot where his hand had been. It was a little shorter than the blade on his left arm.

“What kind of monster is this? A severed hand turning into a blade?” someone whispered.

“Just like that priest, this guy must have been genetically modified,” another said.

“Ugh! That’s disgusting,” someone added.

The crowd murmured as they watched George’s hand transform. They finally understood why he was willing to cut off his own hand.

His arms could turn into weapons, increasing his power and making him a bigger threat.

“I wanted this to be quick and painless for you. But since you’re so ruthless, I’ll have to finish you off,” George said, slowly spreading his arms wide.

The blades glinted ominously in the sunlight.

“I’ll finish you off with one blow,” he said with a sinister laugh. “I won’t let you suffer too much. After all, I still need your perfect body.”

“Such arrogance,” Abigail replied, her eyes turning cold. With a swift motion, she raised her hand, and a red beam shot out from her sleeve, aimed right at his face.

George remembered his past mistakes and stayed alert. He quickly swung his blade to block the red beam. But as soon as the blade made contact, there was a loud thud, and the beam exploded.

The explosion created a thick cloud of toxic mist that enveloped George. The mist spread quickly, but Oron’s lightning barrier held it back at the edge of the battle ring.

“Ah!” George screamed in pain, his voice filled with agony. Moments later, a massive black figure burst through the mist, fleeing in a panic.

In just a second within the red mist, George’s body was festering and bleeding. Strangely, the mist clung to him like leeches, eating away at his flesh with a sizzling sound.

He twisted and turned, trying to shake off the mist, but it was hopeless. The mist only disappeared once his wounds had rotted down to the bone.

At that moment, he looked like a bloody mess, barely recognizable as human. Although his injuries weren’t fatal, the relentless pain was far worse than losing a limb.

“Bitch! I’m going to kill you!” George roared in fury, charging at Abigail like a wild beast, consumed by the desire to tear her apart.
