An Understated Dominance - Chapter 2362
Dustin skillfully dodged and countered every strike from Jeremiah in the battle ring. He landed punches and kicks, but they only caused minor injuries to Jeremiah.
Jeremiah was covered in tough red scales, much stronger than the black ones he had before. With his massive size, he seemed almost invincible.
Every time Dustin’s fists or feet hit Jeremiah’s scales, it made a loud thud, but he couldn’t do any real damage. Even when he aimed for Jeremiah’s weak spots and broke a few scales, it didn’t give him an advantage.
Jeremiah’s ability to heal was incredible. Even with a hole in his chest, he could completely recover in just a few breaths. For him, small wounds were nothing. He truly was a nearly indestructible beast with amazing defense and recovery.
Dustin realized that if he kept fighting this way, he would lose. If he exhausted himself, he would be vulnerable to Jeremiah’s counterattacks.
He understood that he couldn’t rely only on his fists and feet anymore. He needed to use his sword to change the course of the battle.
“This guy is tough,” Jeremiah thought. “He’s actually holding his own against my third form. I’ll need to evolve into my ultimate form to beat him.”
He was surprised. Usually, when he transformed into his third form, he could easily overpower his opponents. But today, Dustin’s strength was causing him trouble.
Every time Jeremiah tried to hit him, Dustin either dodged or blocked. Often, he found himself taking hits in return. While the punches didn’t cause severe injuries, they were still painful.
The fight was relentless.
The frustration from the assault made Jeremiah determined to transform into his ultimate form and finish the match quickly. He was ready to show all his abilities to secure a victory.
As the two fighters exchanged powerful punches and kicks, they both instinctively stepped back to catch their breath and create some space. Jeremiah quickly unlocked his genetic powers, and a surge of energy flowed through him.
Suddenly, two large bulges appeared on his back. They quickly expanded until they broke through his skin, turning into massive bat-like wings that spread out, each nearly 30 feet wide. The wings blocked the light and gave off an overwhelming presence.
Jeremiah, who once looked like a typical demon, now resembled the legendary Demon Master. He stood tall and intimidating, radiating fear.
“Damn it! He transformed again? Does he ever stop?” someone exclaimed.
Jeremiah’s transformation caused a stir among the spectators, many of whom began to curse in disbelief. One transformation was scary enough, but with a third and fourth transformation — and wings — it was outrageous.
“The priest’s power has skyrocketed. He’s even more terrifying now. Dr. Rhys is in serious trouble,” someone in the crowd said.
In the stands, Alicia watched with a worried expression. She desperately wanted Dustin to win. But with each transformation, Jeremiah seemed to grow stronger. At that moment, his power had reached an unimaginable level.
Hoping for Dustin to win felt unrealistic; simply surviving this fight seemed like a blessing.
“I have to admit, the elites from Streuqua, with their genetic enhancements, can truly exceed human limits. Given the situation, I can’t say I feel confident about winning,” Fenley said, shaking his head.
He had once thought he could defeat Jeremiah after…
Dustin watched as Jeremiah transformed into his third form, but doubt crept into his mind. Without a major change, he couldn’t see how he could win.
Suddenly, Jeremiah, now in his demon form, spread his wings and took to the sky, looking down at Dustin.
“Despicable human! You’ve pushed me too far. Now, I will tear you apart!” he roared.
Jeremiah had used all his strongest abilities, and his rage would only be satisfied by destroying Dustin.
“Really? We’ll see if you can back that up,” Dustin replied calmly, raising his hand to the sky.
“Celestial!” he called out. As his voice echoed, a flash of dark light shot across the sky. A black longsword fell from above and landed perfectly in Dustin’s hand, gleaming ominously with a chilling light.
“The Celestial Blade? Could it really be him?”
Several spectators gasped, recognizing the weapon. While people could change their appearance, a weapon remained the same. The Celestial Blade was rarely seen, and only a few knew of its power, but its place on the Divine Weapon List always caught attention.
“Hmph! Do you really think you can stop me with just a sword?” Jeremiah sneered. “I will show you what fear really is!”
With a fierce roar, he flapped his wings and dove toward Dustin. His speed was blinding, and the force of his descent felt like a meteor crashing to Earth.
