An Understated Dominance - Chapter 2402
“Glenn has unleashed all nine of his divine swords. He’s unstoppable now!” one spectator exclaimed.
“The pressure is overwhelming, and those strikes are deadly!” another added.
“It’s over for Dustin. There’s no way he can survive this!” someone else said as the tension grew.
As the Voidreaver came crashing down, everyone held their breath. No one expected the ninth divine sword to have such incredible power. It felt like it could tear the world apart.
“Dragon Sparrow!” Dustin shouted, sensing the danger closing in on him.
Suddenly, a brilliant purple light shot down from the sky and struck the massive Voidreaver with lightning speed.
The impact was deafening, and the purple light burst outward. The Voidreaver shattered instantly, revealing its true form beneath. It was sent flying more than 30 feet away.
After sending the Voidreaver tumbling, the purple light continued its path. It knocked away several flying swords before hovering in front of Dustin.
It was a divine sword, purple with golden accents.
“Oh my gosh! Is that the Dragon Sparrow sword, ranked second on the Divine Weapon List? Am I seeing this right?” one spectator gasped.
“It really is the Dragon Sparrow! But wasn’t that the Sword Whisperer Seth’s sword? How did it end up in Dustin’s hands? Could he be connected to Seth?” another person wondered.
“Seth is dead, and the divine sword needs a worthy master. If Dustin earned the sword’s recognition, he must be a natural-born swordsman,” someone explained.
When the Dragon Sparrow sword appeared, the crowd went wild. Just moments ago, they thought Dustin was finished, but now they realized he had been hiding a powerful weapon all along.
Everyone in the audience knew about the sword called “Dragon Sparrow.” Seth had used it before.
A year ago, a single strike had shattered the defenses of the Dragon Guard and shaken the entire city of Oakvale. Now, with the sword in Dustin’s hands, he faced Glenn in a match that promised to be legendary.
“So, this kid is really Seth’s disciple,” Alloy said, narrowing his eyes with a serious look.
If Dustin had truly learned Seth’s techniques and wielded the Dragon Sparrow, Alloy knew this fight would be full of surprises.
“Defeat him, and you’ll have no one left to challenge you,” Cyrus whispered. He had figured out Dustin’s true identity and realized that beating him wouldn’t be easy. Still, he believed in Glenn. If Glenn won, he would dominate the martial world for the next century.
“Come on, kid. You’ve got this!” Penelope encouraged, her eyes shining with hope. For both personal and professional reasons, she wanted Dustin to win.
“This just keeps getting more interesting,” Kaden chuckled. The younger generation was certainly making an impression.
In the battle ring, Glenn, usually cold and detached, looked at the Dragon Sparrow hovering in front of Dustin with an unusual excitement in his eyes.
“So, you have a trick up your sleeve. Dragon Sparrow… what a beautiful blade.” He couldn’t take his eyes off the sword and couldn’t hide his admiration.
As a sword enthusiast, Glenn was obsessed with collecting the best blades in the world. The more famous swords he possessed, the stronger he became.
