“After you, Ms. Harmon. Don’t make me resort to violence,” he said playfully, seeing a wealthy princess as nothing special.

“I hope you won’t regret this,” Natasha replied with a sneer as she stepped forward. She understood that if she didn’t comply, everyone present would be in danger.

“Tell the Harmons to meet my demands, and Natasha will be safe. If not, I can’t promise what will happen to her,” Joshua warned.

He pulled out an envelope and, with a swift motion, sent it flying like a dagger into the door frame. As they left, Stephan yelled, “Notify Mrs. Harmon right away!”

“What? Natasha has been kidnapped?” Jessica’s expression grew serious when she heard the news and learned the details.

“How could this happen? We have so many bodyguards! How could they take her?” Ruth exclaimed, shocked.

“They were too powerful. We stood no chance against them,” Stephan lamented. He was in bad shape, with his legs crippled and his strength gone, leaving him nearly useless.

“Who was…”

“Can you believe it? They had the nerve to kidnap my daughter!” Jennifer shouted, filled with rage.

“We’re not sure who they are, but they left a letter,” Stephan said, signaling his men to hand it to Jennifer. She opened the letter, and her face darkened as she read it.

“Mom, what does it say?” Ruth asked, her impatience showing.

“It says that before sunrise, we must bring the Immortunol formula and Dustin to Hummer Villa as ransom.” Her voice was low and fierce.

“Hummer Villa? Isn’t that Edwin’s territory?” Ruth asked, her frown deepening. Was the Hummer family involved again?

“Call headquarters immediately. We need the shadow guards for support!” Jennifer said seriously. “Also, call Dustin and tell him to come here right away!”

“Mom, you can’t be thinking of giving him to them, right?” Ruth pleaded.

“This happened because of him. Why should he be free?” Jennifer replied sharply.

“But—”

“No buts. Natasha’s safety comes first. Now go!”

“Okay.” Ruth bit her lip and made the call, not wanting to argue with her mother.

Meanwhile, at Peaceful Medical Center, Dustin listened to the news on the phone, his expression grim. Anger boiled inside him.

“I’ll be there right away.” He hung up and left his house in a hurry.

He drove fast, arriving at Park Place in just 20 minutes. As he walked in, the sight of injured people on the floor hit him hard. Stephan was in the worst shape, pale and coughing up blood, his energy completely drained.

“Dustin, you’re finally here!” Ruth said, relieved to see him. “Who did this?”

Dustin’s eyes narrowed with fury. “See for yourself!” Jennifer tossed him the letter.

He read it, and his anger ignited. “The Hummer family is impossible! It’s time to take a stand!”

“It seems like they will never learn their lesson!” Jennifer exclaimed.

“My daughter has been caught up in your mess. What do you plan to do about it?” she asked, her voice filled with concern.

“I promise I will rescue Ms. Harmon,” he replied confidently.

“And what if you fail?” she shot back, her eyes narrowing.

“Then I’ll pay with my life!” Dustin said seriously. His expression turned grave. “At least you’re brave enough to face this. My daughter’s feelings have not been wasted.”
