An Understated Dominance - Chapter 251
In the afternoon, several black SUVs suddenly stopped in front of Park Place. The doors opened, and out stepped a young man in bright clothes. He had striking features and an impressive presence. Following him was a group of martial artists in unusual uniforms, each radiating a sense of power with their controlled breathing. They clearly weren’t ordinary people.
Stephan, watching them leave the vehicles, shouted, “Inform Mrs. Harmon immediately!”
“This is the Harmon family’s territory. You all need to leave right now!” warned the two bodyguards standing by the entrance.
“Too loud,” the young man said, waving his hand. The bodyguards were thrown back, blood spilling from their mouths as if they had been hit by a car. The group then confidently walked into Park Place.
Inside the hall, Natasha was sipping tea and reviewing a financial report. Recently, thanks to the invention of Immortunol, the Harmon family’s business was booming, and their stock prices were soaring.
If this kept up, Natasha could surpass Edwin’s status in just a year and a half, becoming the first woman to be the wealthiest person in Swinton.
“Ms. Harmon, enjoying your day, I see,” a voice called from the entrance. Natasha looked up to see the group of oddly dressed men, with the young man standing in the center.
“Who are you?” she asked, raising her eyebrows.
“I’m Hummer. Joshua Hummer,” he replied with a faint smile.
“Oh, it’s you…” Natasha narrowed her eyes. “Mr. Hummer, don’t you think it’s inappropriate to barge into my home like this?”
“Inappropriate? I don’t think so.” He smiled cryptically and added, “Ms. Harmon, I’ll get straight to the point. I’m here for three things…”
Immortunol has caused a lot of trouble for the Hummers. You need to give us the formula. Also, my sister was humiliated recently, which brought shame to our family, all because of a jerk named Dustin. I want you to bring his head to the Hummer residence as an apology. Lastly, it’s simple: just be a guest at our home tonight.”
Joshua spoke with the air of someone giving orders, as if he were a master and Natasha was his servant. Even Natasha, who usually stayed calm, lost her temper at his words. “Joshua Hummer, have you lost your mind? You want my man’s head? Who do you think you are to say that?”
He was being ridiculous with his demands right after walking in!
“Natasha Harmon, I’m not here to negotiate. I’m giving you a chance. Know your place,” Joshua replied.
“Hmph! Do you think you’re on Hummer territory?” Natasha shouted, slamming her hand on the table. Immediately, a large group of bodyguards surrounded Joshua and his team.
“Ms. Harmon, what’s going on?” asked Stephan, who was the leader of the bodyguards.
“We have some uninvited guests. Please show them the way out,” Natasha ordered coldly.
“Yes, ma’am.” Stephan turned to Joshua and glared. “Guests, you are not welcome here. Please leave.”
“Too bad,” Joshua said with a smirk. In an instant, he vanished and reappeared right in front of Stephan.
Stephan’s eyes widened in shock. He was about to defend himself when Joshua grabbed him in a chokehold. Suddenly, he found it hard to breathe, and his body felt weak. He couldn’t summon any strength.
“The nerve of a low-level martial artist like you. Kneel!” Joshua lifted Stephan with one hand and slammed him to the ground. The sound echoed through the room like an explosion, shocking everyone present.
The floor cracked open, creating a deep hole, while Stephan’s injured legs bled profusely.
“Get out of here!” Joshua shouted, delivering a powerful kick aimed right at Stephan’s stomach.
With a grunt, Stephan was sent flying several meters away, crashing into the wall. Blood spilled from his mouth as the kick knocked the wind out of him.
“How dare you! Get them!” Natasha shouted angrily. At her command, the bodyguards pulled out their batons and rushed forward.
“Just ants,” Joshua said dismissively.
He waved his hand, unleashing a powerful wave of energy that surged like a force of nature. Before the bodyguards could reach him, they were thrown back by the blast, landing hard on the ground with painful groans.
“Is that an external manifestation of energy? Have you reached divinity?” a badly injured Stephan gasped in horror.
Many martial artists aspired to achieve divinity. While skilled low-level martial artists could break rocks and lift heavy weights, the gap between them and divine-level martial artists was enormous, like the difference between the sky and the earth.
