An Understated Dominance - Chapter 261
Isfrid and her team, standing behind Dustin, were struggling to breathe. They instinctively staggered backward.
“Is this what a divine-level martial artist is like? It’s terrifying!”
The crowd exchanged worried glances, feeling anxious.
“Fool.” Dustin sneered as he saw Joshua coming at him. In a swift move, he slapped Joshua hard across the face. The impact was so powerful that Joshua flipped in the air and landed headfirst on the ground.
Everyone fell silent, shocked by what they had just seen.
“What the heck!”
The crowd was in disbelief. No one expected the once heroic Joshua to be knocked down so easily. They wondered if it was just a lucky hit.
“Josh!” Jade and Tina rushed over, their faces pale with concern. They helped him up while he tried to gather his thoughts.
“Are you okay?” Jade asked, her eyes wide with worry.
“What just happened?” Joshua shook his head, looking confused. Everything happened so fast that he hadn’t seen Dustin’s move. One moment he was fine, and the next, everything went dark, and he was on the ground.
“You were beaten down by that jerk,” Jade said, her expression a mix of confusion and disbelief.
“No way! That can’t be true!” Joshua refused to accept it. “He must have gotten lucky! I must have slipped!”
“Yeah! You must have slipped!” Tina agreed vehemently, trying to support him.
“Kiddo! That didn’t count. Let’s go again!” Joshua was determined not to lose. He charged at Dustin once more.
Another loud slap echoed through the air as Dustin struck him again, sending Joshua flying back even faster than before. He was left bruised and defeated.
The crowd gasped in shock again. While they could explain the first incident, this was beyond anything they expected.
Dustin had won once by chance, but this time, his victory was truly incredible.
“Let her go,” Dustin said firmly.
“You’ve gone too far!” Joshua shouted, his anger boiling over. “I won’t be able to sleep until I kill you!” He pushed the two women aside and charged at Dustin again.
This time, Joshua pulled out a dagger from his waist. With a weapon in hand, his attack would be deadly.
“Go to hell!” Joshua yelled as he rushed forward, swinging his dagger with all his might. A sharp whistle filled the air as the blade flew towards Dustin’s forehead with great speed.
Dustin stood still, ready to take the hit. When the dagger struck his forehead, there was a loud bang, and it exploded into sparks of light.
“What?” Joshua gasped, his eyes wide with disbelief.
How could this be happening?
Dustin had taken the attack directly, without flinching. Joshua was a skilled martial artist, capable of breaking rocks with his strikes. Yet, Dustin had blocked the attack with just his head!
“Impossible! I must be mistaken!” Joshua shook his head in disbelief, unable to comprehend what had just happened.
